Laila Lee Jackson is a lonely, self-conscious, beautiful woman who wants to succeed in her real estate career. Convinced that women are only noticed at work when they have a man on their arm, she decides to take matters into her own hands and arrange a date for a work dinner. The problem is her date cancels at the last minute and Laila questions whether she should go at all.
Feeling defeated, she goes to her usual Friday night spot to meet with her best friend Dena, but her night gets worse when she realizes Dena's brother, Anthony, is back in town. Laila and Anthony don't get along at all, and when Dena gets fed up with their bickering she has an idea to get her best friend and her brother to stop fighting. Anthony should pretend to be Laila's date and take her to the work dinner.
Laila refuses, but when Anthony surprisingly agrees, she reluctantly reconsiders. Anthony has a reputation for charming the ladies, but Laila’s too smart to fall for his game. Not Faking It
Great book!!! I loved the journey with Anthony and Laila. The storyline will keep you saying don’t give up. Anthony has a way with words.❤️❤️

Not faking it by Zoe Ray is a steamy enemy to lovers romance between Laila and Anthony. Laila has become guarded after she felt used by her crush one night after a kiss. Anthony felt like he was not ready for a serious relationship so he decided to get a friend with benefits when he left for college. A great read about overcoming challenges and difficulties to fight for the one you love. I liked how patient Anthony was to help Laila overcome her issues. I received an ARC and decided to leave my honest opinion based on what I read.

A great read
I loved loved loved this book. I think I liked this one better than the others and that is saying a lot. Both Laila and Anthony are super relatable. I absolutely loved how Anthony held firm and applied necessary pressure to Laila to make her see how other people saw her. He held her down and accountable.
This was a wonderful story from start to finish. I would definitely recommend. 👏🏾👏🏾

What A Ride...
Oh my goodness. Did I read this book because of an IG ad? Yes. Was it worth it? Yes. I ate this up in 4 hours. It had everything and a beautiful HEA.

This book is pure fire and passion. This book was amazing. I absolutely adored the intensity and passion from him.
