This tremendously touching book was inspired by stirring letters Bruce Carroll received from those who were touched by his song "Sometimes Miracles Hide". These deeply moving letters of poured-out hearts and portraits of faith show how God took what was first perceived as bleak news and turned it into a miracle of discovery and devotion.
This is a beautiful and inspirational book filled with the personal stories of parents who have learned through their experience of bringing less than so-called perfect children into their families, who have come to learn that "sometimes miracles hide" as they have discovered the unexpected and often profound blessing that these children have proven to be. The title and the stories were inspired by the song, "Sometimes Miracles Hide", written by singer/songwriter, Bruce Carroll. The book grew out of the letters that these parents wrote to Mr. Carroll, telling him of how his song had meant so much to them along their journeys with their children.
This book was given to me when I lost my son and it has helped me a lot with my grieving process. It has now been 14 years since He passed and the book and song still help me.
