Just when Chrissy Caldwell thought things couldn’t get any worse, life showed up and said, “Hold my beer.”

The past year had been a living nightmare, one she couldn’t seem to wake up from. Thanks to her husband skipping town with his twenty-one-year-old assistant and defaulting on the mortgage, Chrissy was moving back into her great-aunt’s dilapidated ranch-style home with her four kids—which was not in her life plan but she was trying to make the best of it. So when her mysterious neighbor, who according to her friends was a Zaddy, offered to help with renovations she figured, why not? What’s the worst that could happen?

Ford Savage was used to life throwing him curve balls. He just never would’ve expected one to come at him in the form of a hot blonde who was a single mom to four kids.

After raising twin girls as a single father and spending his days on construction sites, Ford was ready to live out his early retirement on his terms, which included solitude and fishing. So he ditched the big city, moved to a town the size of a postage stamp, and bought a house in the middle of nowhere without a neighbor in sight. His recluse plans hit a snag when the abandoned house down the road was suddenly inhabited by a woman who bears a striking resemblance to his childhood crush and her four kids. The best thing to do would be to keep his distance. His head knew that, he just wasn’t sure his heart or hormones got the memo.

Author’s Stay With You is a small-town, dual single-parent, next door neighbor, age gap romance. This tale of love features a type-A heroine who is down on her luck and a tattooed hero who is done being a white knight. Rounding out this fairytale cast is not one but two rescue dogs, a total of six children (can you say Brady Bunch?), supportive AKA meddling family and friends, and geriatric cupids who have their arrows cocked and ready to shoot. this book may restore your faith in love and humanity. Read at your own risk.

Fantastic! My heart ❤️. So much soul searching, so much love. Being a mother of four there were times I could totally identify, and although I haven’t gone through a divorce, and am not a single parent, I had so much empathy and understanding for Chrissy and her need to be the best mom, to give her all for her kids, and then some more even when she was empty.
Ford, well where to start? He’s just a big hunk of totally heart melting yumminess. I liked that he connected with her kids almost immediately, even when he tried not to. He was so nurturing and loving and protective, he showed he was the bigger better man over and over again.

Absolutely amazing from start to finish and I can’t wait to go back to Whisper Lake for Knox’s love trip.

Loving this new series from Melanie Shawn! The start of the Savage Brothers series focuses on Ford, who has relocated to Whisper Lake after winning the lottery, affording him to not only relocate but purchase a house where there is only one neighbor somewhat close. Chrissy thought she had the perfect life until everything came crashing down and her now ex-husband hid all their money and refuses to provide child support. She worked hard over the years to get out of the life she grew up in, but unfortunately because of her circumstances, she is having to go back to the home in the country that she vowed to never return to, which just so happens to be next door to Ford’s new house. This was the absolute cutest love story between these two, where we see Chrissy get extremely humbled and keep it together despite her circumstances, and Ford there to be the knight in shining armor while getting threatened by her friends to treat her right. I can’t wait to see what happens to the rest of the Savage brothers after loving this first installment!

Stay With You is the first book in Melanie Shawn’s new Whisper Lake: Savage Brothers Series a spinoff of her Whisper Lake series. And the couples from the Whisper Lake series along with the Knitting Needle Mafia all make an appearance in this one. I’ll just come out and say it at the top of this review, “I loved this story!” Chrissy Caldwell grew up poor raised by her alcoholic aunt after her mother dumped her off for a supposed weekend when she was three years old. Because her aunt provided only the basics for Chrissy spending most of her money on booze and because she lived away from the town of Whisper Lake, Chrissy grew up mostly alone with no social life. Chrissy saw education as her way out of poverty and to that end focused most of her energies on getting top grades which earned her several scholarship offers. She accepted one to Northwestern University where in her freshman year she met B.M.O.C. senior Jim Caldwell. By the end of her freshman year she found herself pregnant. Jim told her she should quit college and focus on being a new mother while he became the family breadwinner. For fifteen years and four children the formula sort of worked. Sort of because Jim was barely home, always traveling for business. But Chrissy had a nice home, beautiful children so she focused on being the best mother she could be. She was a control freak who tried to be perfect in everything she did. Jessa her now loyal friend and former high school frenemy used to call her Prissy Chrissy because she was always so perfect. Then one day Jim hit her with divorce papers, drained all their bank accounts and disappeared with his 21 year old administrative assistant. As the story opens Chrissy has been supporting her family as a server at a local diner for the past year while she waits for her divorce to be finalized and has just had her dream home repossessed by the bank. So she ends up moving back into the dilapidated house she grew up in that her now deceased aunt left her. While she tries to be grateful that she and her children will still have a roof over their head the irony that she’s now living in the house she worked so hard to get away from all her life isn’t lost upon her.
Ford Savage a now retired construction contractor and recent winner of the Illinois Mega Millions lottery has purchased the closest house to Chrissy around 200 yards away. Because Ford’s father had died when he was young, as the oldest of three sons he pretty much raised his younger brothers and then his cousin while his mother worked as many hours as possible to pay the bills. Ford was attending Northwestern on a baseball scholarship when in his sophomore year Trish, a one night stand informed him she was pregnant. Attending her first doctor visit with her he discovered she was pregnant with twins. So he married her, quit school and joined the Marines so she would have health insurance. After four years in the Marines Trish informed him that she was leaving him and left their 3 year old twins with him to raise. Now in his early forties after raising his brothers, cousin and his twin daughters who are now 23 years old and living their best lives as successful social influencers while attending grad school in California, after winning the lottery Ford retires to Whisper Lake seeking peace, quiet and anonymity. He buys a rundown place which he uses his construction skills to spend the next six months remodeling having as little interaction with the other residents of Whisper Lake as possible. Ford is convinced this hermit lifestyle is just what he wants.
Until he meets his new neighbor Chrissy who has just moved into the house his realtor had told him had been empty for a decade and was uninhabitable. I’m not sure whether you’d call it insta-love or insta-lust but from the moment Chrissy’s and Ford’s eyes meet they are gone for each other. As with any good contemporary romance protagonists they both try to ignore the powerful attraction they feel for each other that neither have ever experienced before. When Ford finds Chrissy on the side of the road with her ancient minivan broke down he comes to her rescue loaning her his truck while he fixes her van. When he returns her van and she invites him into her home for dinner he is shocked by the rundown condition of the house. He desperately wants to fix it for her but recognizes she’s too proud to accept charity. So he tells her he has all of these left over construction materials from when he remodeled his home and some used appliances too. He offers to pitch in and help Chrissy who is desperate to make her home presentable with her oldest daughter Fiona’s sixteenth birthday fast approaching. Because Chrissy never had birthday parties for herself she’s always prided herself on throwing her children the perfect birthday party. So even though Chrissy is nobody’s fool (except her soon to be ex-husbands) and quickly realizes there’s no way Ford could have had this much left over building material and brand new kitchen appliances she is grateful for the help and doesn’t call him out on it. Ford desperately wants Chrissy with a desire he’s never felt before but he’s not going to force himself on her. If she wants him as badly as he wants her (and her eyes say she does) she’s going to have to make the first move. Which she does leading to the kind of orgasmic sex Chrissy thought only existed in romance novels. As with most contemporary romance stories it’s two steps forward and then one step back as our two lovers negotiate the obstacles that challenge them from being together.
I loved the way the author wrote the Chrissy character. Her husband had pulled the rug out from under her but she kept getting back up off the floor. Sure she had her moments of doubt and a few near anxiety attacks but she kept trying to move forward for herself and her kids. Ford Savage was about as close to being the perfect man as any contemporary romance male protagonist I’ve ever read. As much as he kept telling himself he wanted a quiet life he couldn’t resist falling in love with Chrissy and her children. Ford’s twin daughters were great as very smart and snarky but loving 23-year-olds who cared deeply for their father. Chrissy’s kids all had their own personalities which fit their ages. The main female characters from the previous Whisper Lake books all made appearances as Chrissy’s supportive group of friends. Just one of those books that I enjoyed so much I was sorry when it was over.

Chrissy has always tried to be a better mother than she had growing up which led people to call her Prissy Chrissy as she always seemed above everyone else though it was more all about her children. After the year she had with her husband filing for divorce, emptying their accounts and fleeing the country as well as having the home her kids grew up in foreclosed upon, she moves back into the childhood home she never wanted to go back to with her 4 kids to try to keep on keeping on.
Ford Savage retired from construction 6 months ago. He was ready for his retirement and expects to be able to finally be alone with himself and his dog. He already raised his brothers and his twin daughters and was ready for it to finally be his time when Chrissy and her 4 kids move into the abandoned house across the field from his new place.
Chrissy doesn't even feel like the same person as she did even a year ago and rather than be parent extraordinaire, she picks her battles and keeps going. When she meets Ford, she can't help but be attracted but knowing she still needs to put her kids first, she tries to fight the attraction. Ford was not looking for more kids to raise but when Chrissy's van breaks down, he doesn't hesitate to jump in and take charge to help out the single mother.
I was definitely happy to see these two characters get their happy ending. Chrissy had proved to herself that she is a better mother than she ever had growing up and that she was stronger than she ever realized. After not working for 15 years, she jumped right into the fire and kept her family going as much as she could and with her newfound tribe she was able to do more than she ever thought. She deserved the happy ending where she had a reliable and steady person on her and her kids' side through everything.
I can't wait for Ford's brother Knox's book next!

I’ve been eagerly awaiting Chrissy’s story and it was so wonderful for her to have some good things happen in her life. While I’m not surprised by what her husband/ex-husband did to her, Chrissy realizes that she has some amazing girlfriends and their husbands in her life that will do anything for her. It was a hard transition for her and the kids but who knew things would be looking up when she meets Ford. Ford has his own past with his own family situation and having a single mother, so he definitely can relate to Chrissy and her current situation. I loved watching the two of them dance around each other knowing full well there was chemistry there but who would take the first step. We also have friends who are manipulating situations and putting these two together and for once the Needlepoint Mafia was a little more upfront about their matchmaking with these two. I loved how he helped her out with the house without her knowing the full details even though he does tell her the truth down the road. I always feel like just when the couple gets together then something happens and par for the course this time her ex Jim reared his ugly head and Chrissy made a decision she thought was best even though it wasn’t. I so appreciated the surprise visitor to Chrissy and their conversion which was the catalyst for her telling Ford everything that had happened with Jim and the way he handled that was so perfect. With the ending and Ford telling her about his ‘visit’ with Jim and what was going to come out of that, Ford definitely deserves the hero of the day. I’m very excited to see more of these two and see what happens next. But for now Chrissy is happen and that’s the most important part. So excited to see what’s coming up next from Melanie Shawn. Wonderful book!

What a great start to this new Whisper Lake series!

Chrissy Caldwell is mom to four kids and was deserted by her husband who left her for his assistant and also left her penniless and homeless. She has been forced to move the family into the small dilapidated home left to her by her aunt while she works at the diner to make ends meet.

Ford Savage moved to Whisper Lake after retiring. He's raised his now grown twin daughters and he's ready to spend time with his dog and just live a life of anonymity in the small town. He hasn't made friends and mainly keeps to himself. He's surprised when he sees activity at the one house that is near his, one that he was told no one had inhabited in over a decade.

When Ford and Chrissy finally meet, sparks fly immediately. Neither of them are looking for anything, but it's pretty hard to deny the pull between them. Will they be able to fight what seems like fate that has brought them together?

This was one where I was rooting for Ford and Chrissy from the very beginning. I felt for Chrissy because of what her husband was putting her through and I just wanted her to catch a break and she did beyond measure with Ford! It was also easy to know that Ford was a good egg from the outset and you wanted to see him get his HEA as well. I'm looking forward to Knox's book without a doubt!

Another sweet and romantic read from Melanie Shawn.
Ford Savage is a retired construction worker. Retired from working, done raising his twin girls, he is ready for some peace and quiet; which is why he bought a house with no neighbors. The only house near him is an abandoned house that’s been empty for many years. But what happens when 6 months of living with peace and quiet, a woman with kids moves into the old, abandoned house?
Chrissy is a recently single mother of 4. After her husband left her and the kids with no money and a house that was foreclosed on, Chrissy is forced to move into her aunt’s old house; a house that is barely habitable. Chrissy and the kids are all struggling with their “new” life, new home and new town. Chrissy’s oldest daughter Fiona is about to celebrate her 16th birthday which puts more stress on Chrissy as she has always had the kids parties at home and has gone all out. Now with a run down home and no money Chrissy knows she got to do her best to get the house ready.
Ford was a single father, so he knows the struggles of being a single parent. So, after seeing the inside of Chrissy’s home and how horrible it is, he resigns himself to help her fix it up. Never in his wildest dreams did he even think he would consider falling in love with a mom with 4 young kids.
There are a few twists that make the story that much better. Highly recommended read.

Whenever I pick up a story by this author, I know I am in for a treat. This one surpassed my expectations and deserves 10 stars.
Chrissy Caldwell and her four kids have moved back to Whisper Lake, the place she had promised herself never to return. But fate, and the MIA husband that took all her money and left her and the kids homeless, has forced her to return to the house she inherited from the alcoholic aunt that raised her. A dilapidated one, but at least one with a roof.
Ford Savage moved to town a few months ago looking for anonymity and happy that the rundown house next to him has been empty for years. That is until a woman and four kids moved next door. The woman his girls nicknamed “the waitress” and who is also a spitting image of Christy Brinkley, his HS crush.
Neither expected the attraction between them or the budding relationship.
Can they both open their hearts? Will her past and his secret interfere in finding their HEA?
This was a story about family, or lack thereof. It’s also a story about overcoming obstacles and coming out stronger in the end. It’s a story about winning the lottery of life when you find your soulmate.
At times heartbreaking, this story is also heartwarming with wonderful characters you’ll come to love.
I can’t wait for the next Savage brother to get his story.
I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

I loved Chrissy and Ford’s story in Stay With You by Melanie Shawn, book one in the Whisper Lake: Savage Brothers series. Chrissy Caldwell had four beautiful children, a husband she had been married to for a little over fifteen years, and was blindsided when she received divorce papers; ending a marriage that never seemed like a real thing. Since then, she has been living a nightmare, attempting to give her children normalcy on the little money she earned from her waitress job, as her husband fled the country, emptied their bank accounts, and left them homeless. Chrissy’s only luck was that she owned an abandoned, rundown house her aunt left her when she died; the house Chrissy grew up in. Ford Savage, father to grown identical twins and retired from his construction job after winning the Mega Lottery, bought and renovated the old house next to Chrissy’s house. His plans were to live a quiet, recluse life, with no one bothering him. Ford’s attempt at a solitary life was quickly interrupted after meeting Chrissy and her kids. Neither Chrissy nor Ford was looking for relationship, yet there was an attraction, a sizzle, and a few sparks pulling them together.

Melanie Shawn wrote a story about family, about overcoming obstacles and coming out stronger in the end. This is an amazing age-gap story about abandonment, meddling friends and family, two fantastic dogs, plus a group of geriatric women that restore your faith in love, kindness, family values, and getting rescued by your knight in shining armor. It’s a story about winning the lottery of life when you find your soul mate, your other half, your partner, your true love. I highly recommend Stay With You to other readers and look forward to the next story in this series, featuring Ford's brother Knox.

We met Chrissy in Grady’s, her ex brother-in-law, book. A mother of four kids is left by her husband with no money no job and nowhere to live. Ford is a retired father of twin daughters, who keeps to himself. Who knew that Chrissy and her kids moving to a house that had been abandoned for 10 years would be the key to their future.

Chrissy and Ford are both characters that you fall in love with from the beginning. How can you not fall in love with a man who feeds the stray cats even though he’s allergic. You want everything to work out for Chrissy and you want Ford to find that perfect woman. It doesn’t take long for the reader to realize that they are the perfect match. Thankfully, it doesn’t take Chrissy and Ford long to figure that out either.

This book was a quick read, and definitely one that needs to be added to your reading list.

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.

Chrissy had four beautiful children, a husband she had been married to for a little over 15 years, and was blindsided when she received divorce papers. I can’t believe her ex cleaned out all their accounts, left her and the kids penniless and homeless, and never called or saw his children. Chrissy was such a good person that she worked hard to put a roof over her children and food on the table. Ford was a quiet, hot looking man that kept to himself and was Chrissy’s neighbor. He was such a good man and had helped raise his brothers, a cousin, and his twin girls. It is so much fun watching two people who were not looking for love and how they end up falling in love. I enjoyed all of Chrissy’s children, especially when they ended up adopting a dog Chrissy found. Chrissy’s ex was the scum of the earth, but the children were luckily nothing like him! I encourage you to read the book. I was given a copy of the book and voluntarily wrote a review.

Every time Chrissy thinks her life can’t get worse, it does. Her husband leaves her for his young assistant, takes all her money & ends up losing her families home. She moves into her childhood how with her 4 kids, a place she vowed to never return to. The one positive is her next door neighbor Ford. Ford moved to a Whisper Lake seeking privacy and quiet after retiring early and seeing his grown daughters move off to California. He peace is disturbed when Chrissy moves in next door.
Ford is a great guy who need to take care of those who need it. Chrissy meets him for the first time while he is feeding stray cats he is allergic too. Chrissy is a wonderful mom who picked the wrong guy to marry. I loved both Chrissy & Ford and was rooting for their happy ending! As always Melanie Shawn delivers an entertaining read with laughs, heat and heart!

Loved Ford and Chrissy!

What an amazing start to a new Whisper Lake Series. Chrissy was starting over after her ex decided to up and leave, almost leaving her and her 4 kids homeless but for a very old house that was left to her by her aunt. Ford is a retired contractor with 2 grown twin daughters, whom he adores!
Melanie Shawn worked her magic and had sparks flying between the two. Ford who thought he wanted to be just alone, as he raise his 2 brothers and a cousin, and then his 2 daughters since her was 10 years old. He just wanted some alone time. But he felt a great connection to Chrissy and her kids.

Girlfriends, laughs, drinks, twin daughters, dogs, cats and the needlepoint mafia are all involved with getting Ford and Chrissy together! What an absolute fun book to read. Would highly recommend it!

Another hit series.

I've been intrigued with Chrissy since the first of the Whisper Lake series. We had an eclectic mix of heroines and then theres this Martha Stewart like person, poised, chic, aloof, then the wheels fall off. She not only survives a horrific life changing status but also makes extra ordinary steps to ensure her kids are impacted as little as possible. Ford is a mid 40s retired construction worker who not only dismantles Chrissy's walls but builds up her esteem, and makes her feel seen. I love everything this author does an this is no exception. Spice was the usual first class. She just has a knack for creating worlds and characters that you just fall in love with and want to revisit time and time again. Always spicey and a guaranteed avery HEA!
ps looking forward to Knox Savage getting his Hea,that's going to be a fun ride.

Chrissy is a down on her luck single mom who’s ex husband is a total tool. She has four kids and is broke. She moves next door to Ford after she loses her home to foreclosure. Ford is a single father and an empty nester. He thought he was happy alone until he meets Chrissy and her kids. The more he gets to know her, the more he realizes that they are just perfect together. Chrissy and Ford are alike because they both love taking care of others. Unfortunately, Chrissy has little experience with having a supportive man. That’s exactly what Ford is. He shows Chrissy what it means to be loved. He loves that woman and her kids. Neither of them were expecting love but they found it.

I really enjoyed this unexpected love story. I also enjoyed reading about a mature man in his forties who had it together and was just a good man. I can’t wait to read about the rest of the Savage brothers!!

Chrissy is living through her worst nightmare, her husband served her divorce papers and disappeared, then her home was foreclosed by the bank and she had to move into her great-aunt’s dilapidated ranch-style home with her 4 kids, a home that is in desperate need of repairs.
After raising twin girls as a single father and spending his days on construction sites, Ford was ready to live out his early retirement on his terms, which included solitude and fishing, and so he decided to move to a house in the middle of nowhere in a small town. His plans hit a snag when the abandoned house down the road was suddenly inhabited by a woman who bears a striking resemblance to his childhood crush and her four kids.
When Chrissy n Ford meet there are fireworks, they are both trying to keep away but the needlepoint mafia have different plans, and Ford gets roped in to help with repairs around Chrissy’s house. Maintaining distance won’t be so easy now.
This is a great start to the new series. The author duo always writes some swoon worthy heroes, but Ford is at the top(need to read the book to know why) I was rooting for him and Chrissy right from the start and managed to finish it in a day. Stay with you is an adorable book that has heat and heart.

I loved this book. We met Chrissy is Grady’s book, she is Grady’s brothers ex. After her ex left Chrissy and their 4 kids for his secretary, Chrissy didn’t think life could get any worse. That is until her house is foreclosed on.p and she has to move to her aunts old house outside of town. Ford is a single dad who after raising his little brothers, cousin from a young age and then his twin girls is finally getting some time for himself. He purchased an old far, house 6 months prior with no neighbors. That is until Chrissy and her kids move next door. Loved these two together.

Chrissyyyyyy!!! Finally she gets the HEA she deserves. Ford is everything she's never had and they truly deserve each other in all the best ways. Their story of warming up to a beautiful second chance at love is so sweet. They both have baggage, they both have kids at different stages of growing up. Their attraction is instant, but the road ahead is not given and it was heartwarming to go along for the road. A heartwarming second chance romance with real life issues, real life insecurities and the butterflies on top. This is the first in a spin off from the Whisper Lake series and I can't wait to see what's next.

Stay With You is the first of the Whisper Lake: Savage Brothers series, and it was amazing! In the last couple of years Melanie Shawn has really stepped up their game with their stories. They stories are longer, and you really just don't want them to end. I loved Chrissy and Ford both individually and together throughout this story. I lost an hour and a half of sleep last night because I had to know what happened!

Chrissy has been in Whisper Lake forever. She tried to get out, but just ended up right back here and now, 15 years later she's somewhere she literally never could have imagined being. Somehow she is still holding it together, mostly.

Ford Savage moved to Whisper Lake about 6 months ago for peace and quiet. His girls are grown and across the country. He was lucky enough to retire early, so it's just him and Duke out in the country. Until the neighbors moved into a house that's been abandoned for 10+ years.

I loved Ford, his daughters, and his family. I cannot wait to read his brothers' stories and see more of him and Chrissy together!

The Savage Brothers… I’m already in love. This first book about Ford, the oldest brother – who raised his two younger siblings, younger cousin and twin girls as a solo dad – thought his time raising others was done. But when single-mom Chrissy moves next door with her four kids, he can’t help but be pulled in by them all. Chrissy’s soon to be ex-husband is a real scum leaving her and her kids with literally nothing, even being evicted from their home. She is forced to move into her late Aunt’s run down home which is somewhere she hoped never to be back. The only plus side is her hot neighbor who happens to be a contractor and willing to help her around the house with repairs, with the kids, with whatever she needs. This is a great book and I can’t wait to read about the other brothers!

What an incredible start to this new series. The first book is about Chrissy and Ford. I have to say I thought they were perfect for each other. Chrissy is trying to begin again after her ex-husband took everything from her. Ford is just hiding out. The two of them together just work. You add in all the children, animal's, and interfering town's people and friends you have yourself a book you will not be able to put down. I cannot wait for book two! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Chrissy Caldwell heads to Whisper Lake after her scumbag husband runs off with a younger woman. Leaving her and their children, homeless and broke. Her aunt left her a rundown shell of a house, but it's all she has.
Now she must make it into a home and start all over again.
Ex construction worker Ford Savage decides to move to a small town, he likes the peace and quiet after raising his twin girls alone. Only a beautiful, mysterious women moves into the abandoned house next door and he can't help but be drawn to her and her kids. As always Melanie Shawn doesn't disappoint, Ford and Chrissy are perfect for each other and I can't wait for book 2...

Ford and Chrissy’s story was amazing! Chrissy and her four kids have struggled over the past year after her almost-ex disappeared with all their money. Only her in-laws and friends have made it bearable. Enter the elusive Ford. He noticed her right away at the diner but never met her until she moved into the rundown house next door. His protective instincts kick in and their chemistry takes over. I was cheering for these two the whole way. Great characters!

This is a great start to the new
The Whisper Lake series:
The Savage Brothers.
It's a feel-good, emotional, sexy
& intriguing romance.
Great characters you will fall
in love with. And two special pups.
Small town charm.
I was captivated by the book
from the start. It's a beautiful story
of family, love & loss.
And a chance at love the second time around.
Can't wait to read Knox's story.
I loved reading every page!!

Great book! Chrissy is a soon to be single mom with 4 kids! Her soon to be ex husband is no good. She has to move to a house that she inherited and it’s not in great shape. It’s out in the country away from everyone with only one neighbor…Ford. Ford is new to town and tried to stay to himself. Well in a small town like Whisper Lake, you can’t just hide. Chrissy and Food end up with some secrets can they end up trusting each other and move on from the secrets?

Melanie Shawn writes the best romances. Stay with You is a second chance, single parents romance set in Whisper Lake. It doesnt really matter the setting, I never miss an opportunity of picking up one of their books. I have loved these ladies since I was introduced in the Crossroads series. Every book has been a delight. They are sexy, sweet, heartwarming angsty wonderful reads. Stay with You is just another fab addition to their library and with all new series..cannot wait for the next one..... especially Knox's.

I love Melanie Shawn books, and this one is no exception! Chrissy and Ford’s story is so good, their chemistry is so hot, that if for no other reason, read this book for that.
It was great to see Chrissy’s ex get what was coming to him and Ford is to thank for that.
I’m not good with words, so I will finish with, read this book and thank me later!

Ford Savage had moved to whisper lake for peace and quiet, instead he finds Chrissy and her four kids. Chrissy is in the middle of a divorce almost penniless and now the bank has foreclosed on her house. She has to move herself and her kids into her aunts house. I loved Chrissy and Ford together. Together they have the winning lottery ticket in love!
