Dire Moon Cartoons

Rate this book
Dire Moon Cartoons shows readers a vivid wide-angle/panoramic shot of beyond-the-mainstream - some may say divergent - styles, techniques and strategies for performance. Merging poetry, spoken word, commentary and eons of drama, these pieces are all recombinant much like running gene sequences through CRISPR and then splicing and reshuffling the results across time/space, even species (aka genres). Mad montage is a central gear in all of these texts and that technique jump-starts a cross fertilization that's produced some really interesting strange birds, indeed, but also - in their own unassuming way - haunting, resonant, encouraging - and full of wonder.
