V.T. Do has done it again! I found my new book boyfriend in this steamy dark romance. Gabriel is the head of a Mexican Cartel, and he falls instantly obsessed with Bianca. She works at a club he owns, and he knows he's going to claim her. Bianca is forced into a marriage with him after some events unfold. Gabriel was possessive and obsessed with Bianca. He would kill for her, and he did. Definitely check the trigger warnings, but this dark romance checked all of my boxes because I'm obsessed with a morally gray hero 😍

Can they be together with all the enemies surrounding them? Great characters and storyline Highly recommended Amazing book I love Gabriel and Bianca amazing characters development. Great supporting characters. So many twists and turns. I couldn’t put the book down. I can’t wait to see where we go next in this world.

Bianca worked at Decadence for two years as a server with one of her best friends, Kaia, while looking for answers on the sudden disappearance of her college best friend Lucinda after seeing a mysterious man.

“Gabriel was a beautiful man, And there was a dangerous aura around him that spelled dirty good time.”

Gabriel, leader of the Mexican cartel has fallen head over heels for forbidden fruit Bianca when she started working at his strip club. Gabriel denies his attraction to her, refusing to subject her supposed innocence into his depraved, dark world. Bianca’s sass made a perfect balance of angst, spice and pushback between the two. Sass from the FMC is always one of my favourites and has me feeling like:


V.T writes superb powerful, obsessive, and smouldering men that aren’t afraid to take what they want. The spice was building throughout the entire novel, which is something up my alley but the last third of the novel felt like nothing but smut no matter what happened to within the plot, which is why I am giving this four stars.

“I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. I am never letting you go so you’d better prepare yourself. I am fucking greedy when it comes to you, so even if it might be better for you if I wasn’t in your life, I won’t let you leave.”


But you guys already know I am a slut for obsessive alpha mafia men so this book was totally up my alley and was completely devoured while being filled with all my favourite tropes.

Plunge Into Obsession was thoroughly enjoy from cover to cover.

3.5 stars for 1 main reason chapter after chapter towards the middle to end was nothing but sex. This book had potential started off good with action then when went into nothing but sex scenes which I don't mind so hot scenes but it started to drag. Gabriel was kingpin of Mexican cartel and Bianca working at strip club he owned she was trying to find her bbf that 5 yrs prior went missing one night and she was hoping to find Luis where her BFF was dating to find out what happened to BFF but Gabriel caught her attention and he was obsessed with hee little did she know he was Luis brother that killed Luis to take back his throne. They hooked up and she got pregnant and he took her to become his and she later finds out what he is and what happened to Luis she tells him about her BFF and he is trying to find her but then she comes face to face with her long lost BFF at the end and what happens next well you can read to find out. This book was great at first but dragged mist of the way to end it felt like it might end on cliffhanger cause author just wrote hot sex scenes most if book and not really getting to end about who is the grim reaper and Ivan until last couple chapters, could have made it more exciting with less sex. Instead of rushing the ending but doesn't end on cliffhanger next book om sure is going to be Raphael and kaia

This isn’t about shared pleasure, it’s about power, and when sex becomes about power, it promotes r. culture. I automatically take a star off for this.
Verdict- YMMV. Normally, I love this author’s work, but not this book.

So this story was a wild ride. I loved getting to know Gabriel and Bianca and seeing their relationship become what it did. I liked that Gabriel had a code in his business and personal life. I dont mind a dark anti-hero but i like my guys to have lines like being protective of kids and innocent people. I was glad that despite the situation, Bianca wasnt some whiny, sniveling weak character that cried, complained and made dumb decisions the whole book. She was upset of course,
but she had a backbone and actually handled things well and complemented his darkness with her light. Id love to get Piama and Kaia's stories, hoping for a mfm menage romance with Kaia, Raphael and her stepbrother. Maybe a romance between Johnny and Piama. Not sure if Catalina's story with her guys is out already or not but I want to read hers as well. The closer we got to the end i thought it was going to need another book, but it actually wrapped things up pretty well although a bit rushed to a small extent. Im assuming the story arc will continue in other books since not all loose ends were tied up. So again, hoping for Kaia and Piama. The epilogue was so cute. Overall really good read. This story had several plot twists that made it incredibly entertaining. It’s perfect for dark romance lovers. I particularly enjoyed the way the FMC responded to things that happened around her, it made her very relatable.

Plunge into Obsession is a well written Mafia style romance that you can pick up, indulge and enjoy. It truly has all the elements of a good story, when compared with books of similar niche. It was enjoyable, and I took my time to read and enjoy, occasionally skimming over a few scenes I found unnecessary (very.. very.. very steamy book!)

V.T Do is a new author to me, yet she easily enthralled me with the likes of Gabriel. "No line I won't cross. I can keep you in the light while I drench myself deep in the darkness. In the ugliness of it all." Lord! Gabriel Cadorna Mendez has a tongue of honey I certainly enjoyed sampling on (lol)

There's more and less that this could have been. It was good, but didn't stand out. Enjoyable, yes.. but follows the footsteps like many others.

This book was tasty, a great feast. Is it memorable and goes beyond ratings? I can't say. Would I recommend? Yes, for a nice read when you crave the gangster dark romance niche.

Wow, I absolutely was astounded reading this book, this story was exhilarating I couldn't put the book down and the characters were absolutely captivating. This story was about Gabriel and Bianca, Bianca is looking for her best friend after she went missing so to get closer she thought she can work at a men's club. Gabriel is the Cartel boss he owns a few men's clubs, that was his first time watching her that turned into an Obsession. The chemistry between them was hot and cold, the emotions ran higher the more they got together. The adrenalin rush with the action, twist and turns, enemies, danger, violence, killings, kidnapping, trafficking, drugs, guns, Cartel, Bratva, betrayal, lies, secrets, forced marriage, rough, raw, intense, sizzling, pleasure, pain, lust, passion, and maybe love.

Plunge into Obsession by V.T. Do is Book 4 of Men of Wrath. This is Gabriel and Bianca's story. Bianca's friend Lucinda has been missing without a trace for 5 years. Her and her best friend Kaia go to work as waitresses at Decadence a strip club in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Bianca is still trying to find information on what happened to Lucinda and she thinks the best way is to get close to the cartel. The owner of Decadence is Gabriel Cadorna the head of the Cartel de Michoacan. Gabriel is obsessed with Bianca from the first time he sees her. He fights his feelings for her to keep her safe from his world and there is amazing chemistry between these two. V.T. Do is a wonderful writer. Her book is exciting and really is a page turner. Full of violence, danger, pleasure, passion and much more.

VT Do’s ‘Plunge into Obsession’ is the 4th book in the Men of Wrath series. Gabriel and Bianca are truly meant to be together: they’ve been aware of each other for several years. He thinks he’s a very bad man and that she should be protected. She has stayed close to hopefully find information about her girlfriend who went missing years ago: but she is also attracted to him.

Gabriel is scarred physically and emotionally from years of abuse by his father and then a huge betrayal by his brother. In VT’s typical skill, she’s written a beautiful romance that gives Gabriel his forever love who he’s obsessed with and gives Bianca her man to love. Their relationship grows as they begin to understand how much they care about each other. Lots of filthy, fun , and steamy sex! Some danger, a beautiful wedding, old friends, and a future! Loved it!.

"Plunge into Obsession" is a great read.
The plot is good, the steam is hot and it is well written.

What I liked:
- No Unnecessary OW Drama (just a hint but was needed for the plot)
- No misunderstanding to create the usual breakup in romances.
- Both characters are as honest as they can be!!!
- The MMC is "Bad" but he is not!!!

What I didn't like
- I found the MFC a little spineless in some instances, but it didn't really bother me, since overall the story was really good.

I will definitely read more from V.T. Do (Actually i might go back to the series for previous books).
I would suggest this book to anyone who like mafia-crime romances.

This is the fourth book in the Men of Wrath series. It is minimally related to the first three books and could be read as a stand-alone. This story focuses on Gabriel, the head of the Mexican cartel, and Bianca, his obsession. The steam factor of this story is five stars, but the story is only three stars. Both Gabriel and Bianca have issues from the past that come to the forefront of their lives once they get married and are expecting their first child. I was hoping for more depth to their stories, more information on Gabriel's undercover life. The book does set us up for the next book in the series, likely featuring Raphel, Gabriel's right hand man, and Kaia, Bianca's former roommate and one of her closest friends. This was just an OK read for me.
I haven't read any of the previous books in this series, but this read as a stand alone just fine.
Basically Bianca gets herself unwilling involved with the mafia, after her friend goes missing. Within days she finds herself pregnant and married to Gabriel( Mr Bossman) .
I didn't like Gabriel very much at all. He kept reminding us he was nothing like his father, but I could see it there! Even right up to the end I didn't like him. Hence the three stars.
There was a lot of sex, and I felt the actual story got gobbled up by it. And then there was the spoiler that pretty much told us how the story was going to go. . . it wasn't hard to figure it out.

Do you love undercover dark romances? This is a GREAT one to dive into - I mean we have Gabriel - a dangerous, powerful, obsessive, possessive and dominant man who takes what he wants, when he wants it. And Bianca - searching for her missing friend Lucinda and to get more info she goes to work at the cartel nightclub Decadence. Of course she catches the eye of her boss Gabriel and he's a goner.
Their connection is off the charts intense, and OMFG this is such a fix of OTT obsession. I mean give me a cigarette after reading some of these scenes!
This whole series has set the bar at a new high for steamy intensity, and I have to say it, I am a fan for life!

I've fallen in love with every book so far in the Men Of Wrath series and Plunge Into Obsession is no different. This one features
Gabriel Cadorna, the head of the Cártel de Michoacán and Bianca, who's trying to find out what happened to her friend who's missing for years and was seeing Gabriel's brother at the time. This storyline is fantastic and the push and pull between these characters is smokin hot. And as if it couldn't get any better, it's an age gap read which I LOVE! Needless to say I'd definitely recommend Plunge Into Obsession, a great story where things aren't always what they seem.

We have arrived at the fourth book of the Men of Wrath and we follow the story of Gabriel who is the head of the Cartel de Michoacán and Bianca. She is still desperately looking for her friend who was dating Gabriel's farmer at the time she disappeared. She would like to know where she is after all these years of missing if she is still alive and if so where is she, and if she is no longer alive what happened and is Gabriel's brother involved? This is a great story that will keep you on the edge of your seat with its drama, suspense, danger and many hot and sizzling moments.

5 Stars for Plunge into Obsession

This is Book 4 of Men of Wrath! I highly recommend the series but this book can be read as a standalone-there are interconnected characters from the series.

Readers should review content warnings as well.

Page Turner - there is so much chemistry and angst between Gabriel and Bianca. Love the touch her and die hero and Gabriel is protective as ever such a dilemma fighting his attraction for Bianca as the last thing he wants to do is pull her into his dangerous world.

So good highly recommend this read and author !

Gabriel Cardona is a handsome, clever, and very dangerous man as the head of a Cartel. Bianca Hansley is beautiful, young, and a loyal young woman searching for any clues about the disappearance of her friend, Lucinda. Gabriel spots Bianca working at his club and immediately becomes obsessed. He tries to stay away since she’s an innocent, but he can only stay away for so long.

Gabriel was obsessive, possessive, firm, and totally over the top. He knew what he wanted and that was Bianca as his wife with a baby in her belly. The spice is fabulous *wink* and even though Bianca feels forced into this relationship, she can’t deny the pull to him.

First read of this series, so I will have to go back and catch up on the rest, but the mafia business lends good suspense to the storyline.

Plunge into Obsession is Book 4 of the Men of Wrath series by V.T. Do. This is the first book in this series that I have read but am now planning to go back and finish the rest. The characters of Gabriel and Bianca were so interesting. I love dark romance books. Gabriel was a hard as nails capo of the cartel and Bianca was a waitress at his strip joint. He wanted her as soon as he saw her and did everything he could to get her. She had spent years trying to find out what happened to her friend Lucinda. Lots of twist and turns in this book. I highly recommend this book to all dark romance readers.

I wanted to enjoy this book but so much smut took away from the story. I felt it was 20% story to 80% smut once they slept together.
The plot was predictable and i’m assuming you don’t find out what happened to her friend until the next book.
I know this book will be the best for people who prefer smut over storyline and i sadly realise that is not me.

I like that for the characters it wasn’t instant hook up that there had been a time period for them, and though their relationship was up and down with so many twists and fast paced it did fit them.

Wow I’m not sure where to begin I definitely didn’t see that coming! Bianca and her friend Kaia have one of the best friendships like seriously they are goals. Gabriel is everything I could have ever hoped for in my OTT alpha man that was just life his obsession runs freaking deep and I am so here for it! This book and these character are completely addicting and I couldn’t put it down. The twists and turns the shocking moments just everything this baby is an absolute must read because you need to be has addicted to Gabriel as I am!

Hold on... this book took my breath away with all the activity, sentiment, show, provocative scenes that played into this book, and obviously, particularly insane minutes in this book that I very much enjoyed in both of the main characters, especially their science, which was a little dangerous, to begin with. Obviously, they will face some difficulties because the mafia enjoys their problems, and it sent me into a spin of anxiety about what would happen, but overall, I preferred it!.

Plunge into Obsession (Book 4 of Men of Wrath) by VT Do. Bianca is a strong, determined, and beautiful character. She is on the hunt to figure out what happened to her friend who has been lost for years. Gabriel is the head of a cartel, he is a dangerous man but obsessed with Bianca, and willing to give her the world. Great story with intense drama, complex characters, and plenty of steamy bits. I enjoyed the author’s writing style and would recommend this story to others who enjoy dark romance.

This book was a good read. The characters were well written, the suspense kept me reading, the sexual tension between Gabriel and Bianca was alright, though I wish Biana wasn't so...flaky. I wanted a stronger heroine who didn't immediately turn into a self-righteous weakling the moment she realized her husband wasn't perfect. Come on! She KNEW he wasn't a good guy, so why the freak out? Anyway, I enjoyed it enough to finish.

This is the fourth book in the Men of Wrath series. This story follows Gabriel and Bianca. He’s the head of the Mexican cartel, and she is his obsession. This story is quite sexy. The couple has chemistry and more. You can’t help but like the couple, the story was a bit underwhelming. Once they marry, Gabriel and Bianca’s past comes to haunt them - issues that suddenly seem much more difficult to navigate especially as they await the birth of their first child.

I was so exited when I saw this 4th instalment of the Men of Wrath series. V.T. Do really knows how to write steamy scenes and this book is full of them. You can feel the cartel world closing in on Bianca as she tries to reconcile who her new husband is with how he is with her and how he makes her feel. I was swept up in their story from beginning to end . I love the characters in this series and can't wait to see what comes next. My opinion of Gabriel swing like a pendulum, like him, hate him, trust him, not so much etc
Bianca is too sweet for her own good, she gets herself in to trouble from trusting too easily but also that sassy mouth .
I love V.T’s writing and ability to make the male lead so multifaceted that you can’t totally really on your own gut as to whether you should root for them or not till the last minute.
A few twists and turns as you’d expect from V.T plus the unanswered questions of what is up with Kaia? What happened between her and Raphael ? What did he do?
