Dix squences dialogues, cinq femmes et un enfant qui viennent prendre plagie ct de Mania, au volant d'une voiture ; dix tapes de la vie des personnages qui pourraient aussi bien reprsenter la trajectoire mentale et motionnelle d'une seule et unique femme.- Dans une existence si vaste, pourquoi dpendre d'une seule personne - Pourquoi pas Pourquoi ne faudrait-il pas l'tre - Je te jure que ce n'est pas de l'amour, c'est une illusion,- Pourquoi ce n'est pas de l'amour Si ce n'est pas de l'amour, qu'est-ce que c'est - Tu dois d'abord t'aimer toi-mme, Tu te mprises au point de te faire mal. Il est parti Tant pis ! Il n'est pas le seul homme au monde (off) Et aprs tout a, tu le pleures encore !- Je suis bout, je craque.- Va-t-en, toi aussi.- Je ne peux pas.- Tu as tort de t'accrocher. C'est une illusion. a suffit ! "

About the author

Abbas Kiarostami was born in Tehran, Iran, in 1940. He graduated from university with a degree in fine arts before starting work as a graphic designer. He then joined the Center for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, where he started a film section, and this started his career as a filmmaker at the age of 30. Since then he has made many movies and has become one of the most important figures in contemporary film. He is also a major figure in the arts world, and has had numerous gallery exhibitions of his photography, short films and poetry. He is an iconic figure for what he has done, and he has achieved it all by believing in the arts and the creativity of his mind.

در فيلم ده یک زن درون خودرویی نشسته‌است و در ده سکانس با ده شخص گفتگوهایی انجام می‌دهد و نمايي از زندگي زن امروزي در ايران را نشان مي دهد. در اين فيلم شخصيت اصلي داستان با پسرش، خواهرش، يك عروس آينده، يك فاحشه و زني كه به دنبال خواندن نماز است گفتگو مي كند.

شاید مانیا در طول داستان فقط بدنبال معنای جمله هایی می گشت که در پرده اول گفت : «ما مال همدیگر نیستیم»،«ما متعلق به‌هستی هستیم»،«باید عاشق باشی تا عشق بورزی»
