I love this book. It was a story my mother read to me as a kid, and I remember how strong an impression it left on me back then, so I decided to revisit it again. Although it is aimed at a younger audience the topics discussed about endangered species and the impact human kind has on the environment, it draws in all readers regardless of age and pulls on the heartstrings. One I will certainly be reading to my children one day
