I liked this story very much. I interpreted the author to be God.

very short read. Author- a parable is about a writer who has an idea for a fantastic story world. But everyone laughs at him. until one day a small child reads his book and becomes inspired to make it a reality.
The story is short and sweet. I thought at first that it would retell the creation story in Genesis, but surprised me by being much deeper than that.
