HIGH STAKES: HER HOUSE AND HER HEART…

Marion Rothwell was out of step with the current season's fashionable young debutantes. Her flame-red hair and bookish nature did not sit well with London's stylish young men. But that didn't unduly upset her—to Marion's mind, the eligible bachelors were a vain, pretentious, and foppish lot.

Then she encountered the Earl of Edgewater. He was charming, handsome, and debonair, and her heart fluttered whenever their eyes met. The earl, however, had committed the scandalous sin of gaming for and winning Laurel Manor, her sole inheritance. Now Marion must win it back—and risk her love on the turn of a card!

I have always been fascinated by historical events, especially British and French. Most of my stories are set in Georgian and Regency England. Some deal with the Jacobite rebellion, and my very first published book was set in Louis XIV's France. I like lots of action and intrigue. The romances set in the Regency period have a bit of intrigue and lots of humor. This year look for the first installment of my fantasy series, TRIALS OF HALLION, Two of Swords, book 1.
