Lodestar - A Guide for Developers
This guide was written for all who might facilitate, manage or execute the creation and deployment of Lodestar, a new, action based social network modelled loosely on the fictional one featured in The Infinity Trilogy.
In those books, Lodestar emerges as the enabler of solutions for the crisis facing us all today. A new type of social network, built on beliefs and geared to action. Our politics have failed and we need a new way forward.
This is not a ‘garage’ project. It will require a massive undertaking to deliver and that is why I am pitching this publication at the broadest community of ‘Developers’. These include technology investment specialists, entrepreneurs and philanthropists as well as digital architects, software engineers and project managers.
The purpose of this guide is to describe how such a system might work in the hope of attracting an that critical mass of supporters who can make it happen.
