You know her story. You know her painful initiation into the werewolf world and you’ve seen her struggle to find the truth.
Now, Lacey Quinn is ready for the war to be over. Are you? Lacey has been used, lied to and cheated out of the only thing she ever wanted: independence. Struggling with her newfound knowledge of being pack leader, Alex coming back into her life and the kidnapping of Lily’s mate—Matt—Lacey is faced with one of the biggest decisions of her life: fight or flight. While she knows running from the war will risk many lives, but staying means she would never have the life she wants and quite possibly never know a world without werewolves, witches and war. Sometimes doing the right thing isn’t always the first or most obvious choice. Lacey Quinn is about to challenge what everyone thinks is the right thing to do. Unfortunately for her, most will not agree with her decision or the painful outcome.
I'm really outgoing and get teased (a lot) for my knack to make friends anywhere including, but not limited to: the bank, the store, the bathroom, the movies... you get the idea.
A few of my fave things are my son, my yorkie, cupcakes, wine, coffee and (of course) tattoo'd boys.
I'm available on Twitter, Facebook and of course, here on Good Reads.
I actually rated this book 4.5 stars but when leaving my review on sites such as Amazon, Goodreads...I round up to the next full star!
Lacey is on the run yet again, still looking for answers to the thousands of questions plaguing her mind. No one seems to have what they are looking for until they come upon a coven of witches that may be holding the key to their survival. Will they be able to get the answers they so desperately seek? Will they be able to find Matt before it is too late? Time will only tell.
I was ecstatic to be able to read the conclusion to Lacey's story. It has been quite some time in the making from when I first started this journey way back in 2010. So to finally finish this book brings out a lot of emotion in me. I fell in love with all these characters from the start and they have been part of an extended family to me. I can only imagine what Deen is experiencing being the author.
My only problem, which I only took off half a star, was the fact that everything that happened...happened too quickly. Each situation they found themselves in came on quickly and ended quickly. The only thing, because of this, there was never a dull moment.FULL MOON was action packed and fast paced. Loved that about it. So when the ending came up...you guessed it...it was too quick for my liking. But in a way, I am ok with that because it was the perfect lead in to the spin off series.
I also wish there was a bit more romance, but again, I can see why there was what there was. They are on the run...for their lives...in the thick of it all!! Who has time for romance? So really I can live with what we got. I just hope that this won't be the last we see of Lacey and Brandon.
FULL MOON was a fantastic read that was bam, bam, bam, BOOM! Like I mentioned before, loved the fast pace of the story and all the crazy scenarios these awesome characters found themselves in. Not all will survive but new relationships will develop. All in all, it was a great read I highly recommend!
Totally no change until at 80% of the book. Before that everything was the same as the second book. Lacey was pathetic and weak. I got fed up reading how she couldn't transform until after halfway in the book. I wish I didn't waste anymore of my time on this book. Total disconnect with the romance between Lacey and Brandon. Just got cheesy.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I'm glad that the final book was finally completed, felt a little rush, but was worth the wait, can't wait for the spun off and I hopeing to see some of out werewolf characters in it
Summary: Finally, Lacey doesn't have to worry about her relationship with Brandon anymore, but there are other problems evolving. Matt is gone, Lacey still isn't able to transform on her own and the legacy of her mother hangs upon their heads. Is there a way to stop the impending war between the werewolf packs? Or does Lacey need some magical help from her family...
What I think: The final installment of The Crescent series leaves me some kind of disappointed. Of course I knew after reading the first and second book (The Crescent and Half Moon) that no all questions would be answered – the author doesn't seem to be much interested in that. But the abundance of question marks was a bit too much for my taste. Here and there some mysteries were solved, but not at all everything that Jordan Deen created over two books. Additionally there were some major elements of the story that suddenly didn't make sense anymore (e.g.: what does happen when a mate dies and the sickness sets in). Unfortunately, the romance aspect that I really liked through the first and second book was nearly missing in "Full Moon", just some short scenes between Brandon and Lacey and Alex. If you hope for a good and satisfying final part, you'll be disappointed with this book. But thanks to the improved writing skills of the author I gave this book three stars instead of two.
Loved the series. Although I do feel like it was left incomplete... the ceremony? Lily and Matt? Sophie and Maddox? Did they get them? What happened with that? And the full moon council? How did that go? I was just left with a lot of questions and it’s disappointing 😔
That ending seemed abrupt. I was thinking we would at least get a bonding ceremony, even if it was an epilogue. Still ends were left flapping in the breeze, Maddox and Sophie , the council.......
I will admit these books had my interest peaked for a very long time. It's hard to follow the story because it twist and pops into different places at random times. But I think my biggest problem with it was the fact that it's suppose to be a trilogy, so there should be some kind of ending. The fact that she's left a good deal unfinished and then says the story continues with the witches side in ANOTHER trilogy is just discouraging. If that's the case then it needs to be a series not separate trilogies.
What a story. The third in the series and the "end". Or is it? I see that there is supposed to be a spin-off series, "The Lune Coven". But where is it? I can't find it. Anyway, what an awesome series. It's a must, must read. What a ride. It holds something for any and every book lover. Pick up a copy. You won't regret it. Happy Reading, Enjoy
So the main reason I gave this book 3 stars maybe more like 3.5 was because of the ending. I'm not going to spoil it but my biggest problem was that she ended all the problems in like 7 pages! I felt that the ending was cut off way to quickly.
