Though I have stated that I am finished, that is not necessarily true. This Word Study will be an on-going work in progress as a reference/resource in my future bible studies. There is so much helpful information contained within these pages that it makes itself an essential asset regarding any bible study group or individual trying to get in-depth knowledge of the study material at hand. This word study as indicated in its title more or less breaks down each word of the Bible in its Greek source language and defines/explains itself. I find the only problem I'm having is pronouncing the Greek words themselves but easily rectified by doing what has to be done if I am to learn. Without a doubt worth a 5-star rating to me. Highly recommend for those who desire to go a little deeper in their Bible studies or just want to be more informed in what they are reading.

This is not a book that you read from cover to cover, so I have not read every word. But I use this all the time! It is a fantastic reference book for Bible study.

My husband studied Koine Greek with Dr. Zodhiates. They always came back to John 1:1-5. This book is a treasure.

This is my favorite, most used Biblical reference tool. It gives layman access to New Testament Greek. Running along the top of the NT text, of every word/phrase, its Strong's number and its Greek grammar. The definitions are found in the NT Strong's concordance and a short lexicon also included. A more complete definition is found in The Complete WordStudy Dictionary New Testament. (See review)
