Bought 10 copies over the years, (just bought two more second hand for £4!), since paying for and attending weekend residential years ago for my personal development, as NHS acute psychiatry RMN nurse. You don't need to be privately psychotic with rage and/or on police caution (some of my fellow attendees to the programme were there from the courts) to benefit from the knowledge & insight available in this book. Highly recommend the book! The in person course sent attendees away with buddies and it was run professionally in a robust, safe manner.

It's worth reading. The first half is better than the second and I found it a tad bloated. It tails off in the lats few chapters. The section of shame and shadows however makes it worthwhile.
