Dan S. Kennedy is the provocative, truth-telling author of seven popular No B.S. books, thirteen business books total; a serial, successful, multi-millionaire entrepreneur; trusted marketing advisor, consultant and coach to hundreds of private entrepreneurial clients running businesses from $1-million to $1-billion in size; and he influences well over 1-million independent business owners annually through his newsletters, tele-coaching programs, local Chapters and Kennedy Study Groups meeting in over 100 cities, and a network of top niched consultants in nearly 150 different business and industry categories and professions.

As a speaker Dan has repeatedly appeared with four former U.S. Presidents; business celebrities like Donald Trump and Gene Simmons (KISS, Family Jewels on A&E); legendary entrepreneurs including Jim McCann (1-800-Flowers), Debbi Fields (Mrs. Fields Cookies), and Nido Qubein (Great Harvest Bread Co.); famous business speakers including Zig Ziglar, Brian Tracy, Jim Rohn, Tom Hopkins, and Tony Robbins and countless sports and Hollywood celebrities.

Dan has addressed audiences as large as 35,000....for more than ten consecutive years, he averaged speaking to more than 250,000 people per year. Corporate engagements have included American Honda, Floor Coverings International, IBM, Pitney-Bowes, Sun Securities. Today, Dan rarely accepts speaking engagements outside of Glazer-Kennedy Insider's Circle ™ events.

As a direct-response marketing consultant and copywriter, Dan is the 'hidden genius' behind full-page magazine ads you read, TV infomercials you see, online marketing and direct-mail you receive. He is routinely paid upwards from $50,000.00 to, on average, $100,000.00 to $200,000.00 plus royalties to craft direct-response ads, sales letters, direct-mail campaigns and integrated offline/online marketing systems for his private clients.... over 85% of which repeat. His advertisements created for clients have appeared in over 200 magazines from industry trade journals, airline magazines and The Wall Street Journal to USA Today and Readers Digest to Cosmopolitan.

He has created winning campaigns for health, diet and beauty products and companies, B2B and industry products including software, and investments including Canadian land sold to Asian investors — but his #1 specialty, where he does most of his work, is with clients in the information-marketing industry including book, home study course, online course and newsletter publishers; seminar, conference and event promoters; coaching organizations; and associations. Most new client relationships begin with an initial consulting day at his base fee of $16,800.00, conducted in one of his two home cities. There is usually a waiting list, and new client candidates are asked to communicate initially via a one to two page memo describing their business, needs and interests.

A book about mindset. A list of a bunch of ideas that will help you make money.

Outline:
Wealth can be created. Positive sum game.
There is shitloads of money. Don't let anyone convince you that money is "tight"
No such thing as fairness when it comes to the wealth distribution. You make exactly as much as you deserve.
Don't accept other people's definitions of what greed is.
No fear.
No excuses.
The way you talk defines how you look at the world.
Be an expert. Also, an expert may not be what you think it is.
Pick an expanding market. Be in the right place. A place where money is.
Get started. Get moving.
The best potential customer is the one you already have. Making a sale to a new customer is the start of the process not the end.
Be honest.
Ask for what you want. Constantly.
The market is more important than your passion. What other's want is more important than what you want.
Find underserved markets.
Don't just serve those local to you. The market is global for everyone.
Know exactly what is going on in your business. Numbers and money.
The less you need it the more you'll get.
How long you've been doing something is worthless. The only thing that matters is how much value you offer.
Equity, equity, equity.
Marketing is the most important. The ability to get customers to pay attention. More important than sales. This is where the money is. Everything else is a commodity.
Surround yourself with people you want to be like.

Quotes:

"This is an illustration of a position often taken about this thing called opportunism. Truth is, everyone is opportunistic. Some are just better at it than others. The homeless beggar who discovers a dumpster filled nightly with exceptionally good leftovers and returns to it each night is an opportunist. If he keeps it secret and does not tell the other homeless folks about it, he's exceptionally opportunistic. I doubt this liberal denouncing the greeting card company would criticize the homeless person. Or recognize and acknowledge her own opportunities."

"A principle or strategy long used to create business breakthroughs; marry a fundamentally successful product with a different means of distribution."

"Motion beats meditation. Where are your best prospective customers/clients/patients? Where can you place yourself that elevates your status and importance? Where can you place yourself that showcases and demonstrates your expertise? Who or what can you associate with that your best prospective customers/clients/patients pay attention to, respect, or are involved with? Omnipresence: Once you decide on your "where," the best questions are: How many different ways can I appear there simultaneously? and How can I be there all the time?"

"There are all sorts of reasons for this inaction. Poor self-image, lack of confidence, not being able to see yourself doing it. Ignorance. Laziness. Procrastination. Waiting for better timing, more resources. The list of excuses for inaction and status quo acceptance is long, and, of course, useless and valueless. If you seek to attract wealth into your life, you have to get the list out of your life."

"When you cannot change what the product is, you have to change what it means."

"Debt doesn't just enslave through compound interest reversed. It enslaves by imposition, by telling you that you should do work that you don't want to do, accept clients or customers you can't stand, and otherwise compromise every which way because you need money. I insist your objective should be to get to the position of not needing more income, so you can act independent, be selective, cal your own shots, entirely free of actual or felt pressure."

"Expertise-what you know. Expert Status-what you are known to know. Skill-what you do. Productivity-what you get done. Efficiency-how you get done what you get done. Effectiveness-opportunity selection; and how well you do what you get done. Organization, Multiplication-how you get things done by means other than manual labor. Influence-what you can get others to do. Relationships-who you know. Celebrity Status-how well you are known (by your target audience). Reputation-what others know about you. Vision-what you see, that others don't."

"It is actually these rank-and-file wage workers who exhibit greed at its worst. They want something for nothing, they seek an unfair exchange. Time on a job, years doing a job, does not increase the inherent value of that job being done."

"You can only be assured of getting whatever you want out of life, whether a certain income or security or wealth or simple respect, by earning it though proportional creation of value. Not just getting older and being here or there longer."

"These super-entrepreneurs may not be able to find their car keys, keep their offices free of overwhelming clutter, read an balance sheet, or turn on a computer. What they don't know would shock most people. Their personality flaws and personal dysfunctions could keep teams of psychotherapists gainfully employed. But one thing is true of virtually every single one of them: They are unabashed, unashamed, irrepressible promoters, salespeople who know hot to sell and do so day in and day out, and understand and usually keep their hands on their firms' marketing. They are, first and foremost, marketers."

While I have heard of Dan Kennedy for years, I am pretty new to reading his material. I wish I'd read his stuff earlier, I like him and I like his message. His book "No B.S. Wealth Attraction In The New Economy" is a good lesson on how to think, how to look at things, and a good encouraging kick in the seat of the pants to look for the wealth and money that is out there. According to Kennedy, it doesn't matter what the economic conditions are, booms or recessions, including what he calls our "new economy," there is wealth out there, and all you need to do is figure out how to lure, bait, attract, and become a magnet for it. While it might not be as simple as some would lead you to believe, I think Kennedy is right, and the first step toward attracting that wealth is your mindset and how you look at wealth attraction in the first place. And that is where this book comes in. It is a good guide on how to think about money, how to think about attracting it, and starting point toward acting on those thoughts and actually attracting more wealth than you have before. And that is a key, and Kennedy will be the first to tell you. You must ACT, and if you ACT right, you can achieve what others have achieved through similar ACTIONS.

Some of the things Kennedy wants you to think about, or how he wants you to think, are not having guilt over making money, or having money. You must have an unequivocal belief in abundance and break free of the notion of "fairness." You must accept the responsibility for yourself and have no fear or excuses as you pursue money and become someone. You must do something! Remember, action is what it is all about.

The author also covers things such as following up, integrity, asking, passion, and what I think is a very important concept, seeing what isn't there. He also has a short chapter on thinking value, not time. He covers this concept in much more depth in his "No BS" book on time management. And yes, he plugs this book and other resources in this volume. That is a lesson too. Kennedy has made a lot of money, and helps many with marketing. Wouldn't you expect him to be marketing himself too? I don't mind this, because I believe the book provides value in how you can think and act to attract wealth, and his other resources can help you with the acting.

There are two case studies in the back of the book that I found very interesting. One small university and one barbershop that went above and beyond what others were doing and created wealth in their fields. There are also some additional resources listed in the back.

I think this book is motivating, and contains some practical ways at looking at money and wealth that if followed will undoubtedly help people attract more wealth and achieve greater thing. I'm not going to use this book to keep me on track as I work on my businesses.

I really think this is Dan S. Kennedy's best book. Better than any of the marketing, copywriting, advertising or business advice books he has written.

Why best?

Because the wealth magnets he gives you in No B.S. Wealth Attaction in the New Economy are superbly sound, intuitive and just give you a deep understanding of what attracts money towards you and how to live and think about life or business in general.

If you want to spin your wheels and get nowhere in life, you can search some other "holy grail" book on Amazon or read an article, but if you want to succeed, then this book is for you!

Of course, there is a "BUT".

I think anyone who reads this book, should have a basic understanding of Dan Kennnedy's principles of business thinking and life thinking before he reads Wealth Attraction.

Getting a feel for how Dan thinks is critical.

Then when you have that basic feel, I recommend purchasing Wealth Attraction and not only read this book one time. That's stupid! You need to read the book like 5-10 times over the course of a year.

I personally reread a few chapters every night before going to sleep. It's so powerful.

So, really, really recommend this book by Dan!

This is the latest book from Planet Dan, and anyone who knows his work knows that he's perhaps the best marketing mind on Earth.

I knew Dan didn't buy into the perception many people have that the Law of Atrraction is about thinking positive thoughts and you get what you want, so I was curious to find out what he had to say about attracting wealth.

As I've come to expect from Dan, I got the unexpected. He blasts through popular ideas of wealth attraction and reveals true secrets. Put this book into practice, which in itself you can spend a lifetime doing, and you can expect to get rich.

This was a pretty good read. Dan Kennedy is one of the foremost copywriters and marketers of his generation. A friend of mine paid $Huge to spend just one day being mentored by him and said it was worth every cent. This book is worth every cent. Some really solid advice about improving your life - not just creating wealth. It really helped me crystalise some thoughts about where I'm going in life.

Great quote about getting rid of negative influences from your life: "If I wake up thinking about you three mornings in a row and I'm not having sex with you, then you're out of my life."

It took me ages to read this but there were some absolute gems in it. I read it on Kindle and took a ton of notes throughout. I think I should come back to this again as I got so much from it this first time round.

Practical, No-Nonsense Wealth Advice with Real Action Steps

Dan Kennedy’s No B.S. Wealth Attraction in the New Economy is one of the most practical and impactful books I’ve ever read on creating and attracting wealth. It’s not full of fluff or unrealistic promises—it’s packed with real, actionable advice that you can start applying immediately.

What stands out most are the 28 “Wealth Magnets” that Kennedy outlines. These are practical strategies, such as increasing your personal value, rethinking how you approach opportunities, and building a powerful network. I especially appreciated his advice on shifting from a mindset of chasing money to becoming a magnet for it. His 90-day action plan for testing these principles is something I’ve already started, and I can see how transformative it can be.

Kennedy also challenges some of the common myths about wealth, like the idea that “doing what you love” is the only path to success. Instead, he focuses on finding what creates value for others and aligning your efforts with what works in the real world.

This book isn’t just a motivational read—it’s a step-by-step guide to shifting your mindset, adopting smarter habits, and taking control of your financial future. Kennedy’s tone is blunt and direct, which I really appreciated because it cuts through all the noise.

If you’re serious about changing your financial situation and ready to do the work, this book is a must-read. Follow the advice, take action, and you’ll see results. A solid 5-star read!

Even This Serial Entrepreneur BENEFITED!

Yes, as a long time serial entrepreneur I am always looking for REAL Wealth Attraction that works unlike the New Age psycho babble called The Law of Attraction!

You can't sit of your butt and expect wealth attraction without ACTION!

Kennedy has for a long time been my GO-TO-NO BS guy that has a REAL track record of WEALTH!

I love how he discusses SELF SABOTAGE that I am constantly battling and also it is NOT my prerogative to determine if people can afford what I am selling! My only prerogative and DUTY is to SELL the person a product or service with VALUE creating a NET PROFIT for myself as a sole entrepreneur!

By the way WEALTH is only created by MOMENTUM not sitting on your but! MONEY likes MOVEMENT!

Sure Kennedy agrees you must have a VISION but it then needs FORWARD movement!

As others say, he agrees - IDEAS are NOT going to earn you any WEALTH unless they are EXECUTED resulting in a good NET profit!

He gives great examples of clients and friends who have followed his Wealth Magnets inuding one in my state of North Carolina that I had never heard of: HIGH POINT UNIVERSITY under the leadership of a very successful entrepreneur and speaker that I had forgotten about - Nido Quebin! I am now on his Daily Motivation email! If I had a grandchild I would strongly suggest he or she look into this incredible university!

This book opens your eyes to money, how it is everywhere, people will spend it on anything, so don't feel guilty about it. When you think about how often have you have been tight with cash but you still found enough to go out Friday night.

That is reality in all cases really, so if someone is going to spend their money why not it be on your product or service?

No B.S. Wealth Attracts really gets you into the mindset of making money, talks to you about how you should talk, act, feel.

I personally believe the best in Dan Kennedy's books-

Without the correct vision about money and wealth, it's hard to achieve - or to keep - high results.

The principles outlined here are essential to understand how economy works and how money really moves from person to person, from place to place, why, and how to predict it, as Dan then outlines in his 'Almost Alchemy' and in his private clients newsletter.

I keep studying and going back to this book.

I want to write a review in Amazon and I have difficult doing it. I am glad I am able to it now. It an eye opening book from an entrepreneur that perceived, invest, evaluate, put together a plan, and accumulate money. I did not not know that actor Paul Newman and Gene Simmons from KISS have something in common.

A great deal of B.S considering the title. Couldn't even be bothered getting 1/2 way through it during a nationwide lockdown. Yes, there is the motivational stuff but for me that was completely overridden by the author talking about how great he was. Then how great Trump is.

No BS is right. Dan Kennedy tells it like it is, from his point of view. And he's got tons of experience and quite a track record to draw from! I usually get rid of books after I read them (at least, I try to), but this is one I need on my shelf to refer to again and again.

A couple of beefs: Kennedy spends a bit of time debunking the "Law of Attraction" and talking about how money doesn't respond to "fairness" and doesn't care if you're a criminal or a saint -- it moves on the basis of non-judgmental market forces. I totally get that and agree with it. But then in later chapters Kennedy seems to bend the "Law of Attraction" to his own ends, talking about how money "moves because of courage" and other pseudo-psycho-babblish statements. I don't think you can have it both ways. But I'm not going to quibble over a ton of details because the rest of the book's content is so sound.

I do think he could have used a good editor. He's a powerful writer, but even fabulous writers need editors. Some of his sentences go on for nearly a paragraph, and I had to go back and deconstruct them to figure what the heck he was talking about. And subject-verb agreement doesn't seem to rank very high on his list of priorities. Some well-placed periods and a good reading by a copy editor would have helped make this solid four-star book into five stars.

I will be taking advantage of his special offer, and I've already ordered a couple more of his other "No BS" books.

This is the third time I have read this book, and it gets better every time. Yes, the title is embarrassing and no, this has nothing to do with principle like 'The Secret.' Kennedy is my favorite author on marketing and I own all of his books. This is the best of the bunch for anyone who wants to improve their mindset regarding money.

Just to give you an idea of the types of things he talks about, they include how to become a celebrity in your industry, why giving and saving are wealth attractors, the power of not having any debt, why you should always follow up, uncovering negative money mindsets, and more. There is nothing about visualizing goals, chanting, or the like, so if that is what you are looking for you will be disappointed. Highly Recommended.
