I have grown very fond of this little book. It is the most spiritual of all Al-Anon books and several of my favourite Al-Anon quotes come from this little gem.

The essence of the 11th step told through the personal stories of Al-Anon members. I have read many of these readers and this one is a favorite.

A pocket sized book from Al-Anon Family Groups. I haven't delved into this one much yet but one day upon randomly opening to a page I found one of my favorite Al-Anon quotes to date.

Good. Similar to a daily reader in that there are small separate entries which can be read a little at a time with the focus on the spiritual side of Al-Anon and one's relationship with one's higher power. Instead of dated entries like a daily reader, the chapters organize the topics in which the entries are grouped. Topics covered: Fellowship, Moving Toward a Spiritual Awakening, Concept of a Higher Power, Recognizing Spiritual Awakening, Letting Go, Prayer and Meditation, and Practicing the Spiritual Life. I won this book as a door prize. I might not have chosen to read it otherwise, but I am glad that I did.

So many beautiful stories and prayers in this book. A great Step 11 book that my sponsor assigned to me for reading. Happy to add it to my collection of CAL.
