This is a fun book, and a charming party game. I enjoyed it when it came out and am glad to have procured a new copy. Meet me at a party, I'll happily give you a reading, it's a very charming concept that's been executed well.

HOWEVER, due to when this book originally came out, the pop songs covered here only go to 1989, which for obvious reasons limits how many people can, at this much later date, can enjoy the fun. Still if you're in the appropriate age range, you'll get a kick out of this. It's a good'er.

Super fun for those of us who enjoy astrology and other mystic self-discovery methods but are reasonable enough not to take it religiously serious. It was very easy to look up my birthyear, birthstar, and finally birthsong (Rock Me Amadeus!) and read what the author had to say about each. I'll definitely be coming back to this book to look up friends and family at parties and get-togethers :3
