A fun collection of short stories, and fables etc that are from a great cross section of genres I'd probably not normally read from, that most often had some great memorable leadership truths buried inside. Super glad that I did get this from our system. From American History and the civil war / underground railroad, to other wars throughout history and countries. Tales of Knights and Kings, biblical retellings, short poems etc. Very entertaining and easy to pick up and read a few stories in just a few moments. I will be wanting to read some of these stories to my nephew and nieces. A real great eye and brain opener.

When I first started reading this collection of stories, I was inspired by the true-to-life tales of leasership. As I read on and started reading fables instead of fact, the book started to drag out a bit. If this book contained more factual examples of leadership rather than fiction, I would have finished reading this book more sooner. There are some gems in this collection, and there are some heavy boulders that drag for a bit.

This book contains excerpts about leadership from The Book of Virtues. My wife has used the full book for morning devotionals with our kids, and we have all enjoyed the fun stories, the messages they contain, and the discussions that easily accompany them.

This short book is easy to read and makes a valuable addition to the bookshelf of anyone in a leadership role.

Wonderful short stories that have built the history of this world. Great reminders of how we were created to think compared to how we've been trained to think. I would recommend this book to anyone that needed a good quick uplift.
