Everything is Better with a Gorilla

Rate this book
Being best buds with a great ape is basically the most awesome thing in the entire world. They're excellent wingmen. They're accomplished bargain hunters. And their impressive dexterity makes them the perfect ping-pong partners.

The perks are pretty much endless.

Whether you need a hand organizing an Olympic-caliber bobsled team or fancy a leisurely stroll, a Gorilla is the ideal companion for whatever it is you're game to do. And the guidance they give is the absolute tops. Gorillas know the dish on the hippest eateries around and provide financial advice that's unbelievably sound (as they hold true to a "don't spend what you don't have" policy).

Everything Is Better with a Gorilla because, well, it just is.

Gorillas aren’t even my favorite animal and yet I’m reconsidering my feelings for the large fluffy beasties after getting a eye full of them in this comic. The art work is fun and colorful. The scenarios of gorillas doing human things are pretty spot on. Listening to records with a gorilla is by far my favorite page, playing homage to the long lost cassette tapes and Gorillas love for musical trivial pursuit. And me being me, connected that to my favorite band Gorillaz because I couldn’t help myself. There are small gorilla facts tossed in every page as well as several organizations that help gorilla preservation. The jokes are fun, some pages are repetitive, but the art wS very fun and reminiscent of School house rock cartoons. Good little read.

Very clever book

Everything is Better with a Gorilla by Andrew Hall is a book that at first I wasn't sure who the target audience was intended. It has clever sayings for middle grade kids then things for adults, then back and forth. Mostly early teen. Younger might like it and older might too. I felt it was cute for that age group. I got a bit bored at times at some of the silliness but I pictured my grand daughter and she probably won't have gotten bored...

Fun little bathroom read. Has actual facts about our fuzzy compatriots mixed with absurd situations in which people could use the companionship of a foliage consuming primate.

Only read parts of it. The excerpts for each page were too long.
