Even your best friend can get into trouble sometimes. No, No, Ebenezer, is about a mischievous little dachshund who always seems to be in trouble. But no matter what happens, he loves his human, and more importantly, his human loves him!
I am an author, storyteller, puppeteer, and songwriter with a lifelong passion for early childhood literacy. As a retired Early Childhood educator and former director of a center serving 115 children, I gained invaluable insight into what young learners need—and what truly captures their imagination.
Today, I travel nationwide presenting keynotes and delivering staff-development workshops for educators. With hundreds of presentations in 47 states, I’m known in the early childhood community as The Storytelling Lady for my lively blend of music, movement, puppets, and original stories.
Understanding children’s cognitive, linguistic, physical, social, and emotional development is at the heart of my work. My picture books grow out of stories I’ve shared with thousands of children across the country, and I continue to gather new ideas that inspire a love of reading in young learners.
This is a delightful little book with simple yet perfect words and illustrations. This book is perfect for an early reader or for an adult to read to a child. My favorite part was the mention of his friend, Winston. This book will be donated to St. Joseph School in Chehalis, WA.
