Drawing from his thirty-two-year radio career, the terrible truth of Boortz's book depicts his in-your-face brand of Libertarian politics. From questioning the true definitions of democracy and racism to challenging the entire Social Security system, he provides fresh insights into nagging social and political issues.
Boortz gives a humorous but soberingly realistic look at Liberals and what makes them tick. All through the book, as he describes the characteristics of what makes a Liberal a Liberal, I thought to myself, "yep, he's got them pegged to a tea."
I hate the title, but I love the book. He refers to "liberals", however, compared to most of his colleagues in successful talk radio, he's more liberal than most. I guess that's why I like him
I sure am thankful for people like Neal and Rush who attempt to help people like me and you remember what America stands for and what it can be. They do this even in the face of an overwhelmningly liberal media that controls basically everything someone who doesn't listen to talk radio sees and hears.. Even after being labeled as "hate radio" hosts and having the media turn millions of Americans against them, Boortz and Limbaugh continue the fight. And what an important fight it is too!! We can't afford to let control of this country fall into the hands of these liberal politicians who will say and do ANYTHING if they think it'll get them votes. (Just look at John Kerry and his tendency to flip or flop whichever way he thinks will be the most popular at any moment). In this book, Neal Boortz spells it out plain and simple: the liberal agenda and the threat that it poses to America and to our freedom to be an individual and make choices on our own. It's not just an illogical tirade. Neal backs up his claims with concrete examples.. I strongly reccomend this book to anyone, liberal or conservative or in between.
This book was a well prepared piece of literature to combat liberal ideology. It has scenarios, counter arguments, and pure truth to make conservatives ideals understood. I would recommend this book to anyone, and felt that it deserved 5 out of 5 stars. To one of my heroes, Mr. Boortz, you did a great job preparing this. Your ability to explain the truth without spending to much paper explaining was wonderful. Great job. To the world: If you have the ability to read, read this book NOW!
I'm a HUGE fan of Boortz and have been a frequent listener of his radio show. Because of that, most of the material was not new to me hence the average rating. If you don't know much about Boortz, I highly recommend this book.
