Very straightforward introduction to what Heirloom vegetables are, some history, and great little tid bits. The book wasn't very long, and doesn't go greatly in-depth, but I really enjoyed the information it offered. The bulk of the book is about various vegetables and a wealth of heirloom varieties and descriptions and history for each of the vegetables which looks to be a great reference resource.
