Sweet little read, with likable H/h and a hot (but somewhat tame) sex scene. There was nothing kinkier than some light spanking, so squeamish readers can proceed at ease.

The easy way Randy dismissed Lindsay's concerns about jeopardizing her future at his father's company bothered me: he implied that there was nothing to fear because they would never break up and find themselves in that awkward situation where she would have to quit, but really, how could he be sure about it? Oh well, why am I concerned? This is Romancelandia! ;)

Must be never then...

Totally missed the mark for me. This story was included as a bonus with Stuart's Tempting Trouble. Better Late Than Never has nothing to do with Tempting trouble but there are similarities in the storytelling. What it boils down to is the equivalent of a one night stand with a long time crush told in roughly 25 pages of unrememberable text. Pretty juvenile with no plot and lacks any suspense (there's no doubt where this story is heading from the sentence from the first paragraph: "he didn't care about anything other than getting to her").

Short sweet read. Following an accident that lands Lindsey in the hospital, her coworker and boss’s son, Randy visits regularly to keep her company. During the visits they get to know each other and grow closer. But upon release Lindsey realizes she must cut any emotional ties with Randy if she wishes to return to work and keep her job. Randy has other ideas, as he may be falling in love with her; but how does he get her to realize there could be more between them if she won’t even return his calls?

Short, but complete. Recommended read.

Free 20 page story, downloaded for my Nook--I probably wouldn't pay for a story this short, but as freebie, it's a nice little story with a slow build up to a nice love scene that manages to be both hot and sweet. I liked Stuart's voice, and I'll probably read more by her. I think I probably would have enjoyed the story more had I read her earlier work that included the characters as it assumes that readers already know these people. But pacing, POV, and emotional impact were very nicely done. It's tough to master the short-short format, so I give her major props for it!

Realmente la sinopsis lo dice todo.Nada diferente,es la típica historia de dos que se atraen pero que no se atreven a dar el paso.Ella porque es el hijo del jefe y el...pues porque le gusta mucho.Cuando el le pide una explicacion del porque lo esta ignorando luego que se besaran ardientemente,la lleva a la casa y tienen sexo.Nada que yo considere muy hot,hasta en las Harlequin(Bianca o Julia) que son mas románticas que calientes,salen escenas de sexo mas candentes que la descrita en esta novela.Se puede leer,si no se tiene nada mejor que hacer.

Eine kurze Geschichte, die eigentlich nur aus einer Liebesszene besteht. Mit etwas mehr Seiten hätte "Better Late Than Never" viel Potential gehabt, aber so wurde eigentlich alles verschenkt. Die Charaktere bleiben logischerweise blass und spannend wird es leider auch nur mäßig. Nicht mehr als ein kurzer, erotischer und kostenloser Zeitvertreib. Kann man lesen, muss man aber nicht.

Lindsay Taylor was in a car accident and the bosses son Randall gave her a very passionate kiss that she cannot forget while she was in the hospital. She has been avoiding him since, but she goes back to work today.
Randall wants to know why Lindsay has been avoiding him? And he is going to find out why? So after work he is planning to take her home. He will make sure that he lets her know that he has wanted he since he set eyes on her.
A very fast read.
