This volume did a really good job of expositing information about the world. Since Makoto isn't from the world, it's very easy to explain everything without it feeling forced. We get some interesting development in Makoto's relationship with Tomoe and Mio, setting up a sort of comedic dynamic between the three. We'll have to see how their trip to the larger city goes in the next volume.

What is it with Isekai where the protagonist is insistent of carving out a piece of utopia for themselves.

Ah the harem grows.
Little spider boss is easily defeated and falls into a love-like masochistic affection for Miso and ends up becoming his second servant. Anyone ever read How do Build a Dungeon? This is the kiddie version of it.
I expect every boss-like enemy or terrifying monster to end up wanting a contract with this man and they all take the appearance of hot chick he possibility never could have had a chance with in his world yet here he will become the dream boyfriend they all get jealous and compete for his affection.
I expect Ema to turn into a voluptuously big breasted blond in the future. She clearly has a thing for him. Everyone is hot by his standards; they are average looking according to isekai world rules. I hate this series...
I need to be explained what in the heck happened to the town at the end of the volume? Both his servants went crazy mode in destroying the kidnapping fake levels club. They destroyed the town. It no longer exists. What happened to it? What happened to the citizens? How did those victims survive the chaos when they were right at the front of it?? How does this make sense???
