Read the 1st edition in undergrad when it just came out and I took the class at UCI. The 2nd edition has some updates, but is essentially the same. It provides a great overview of general epidemiology. A bit basic for a doctoral level course, but definitely easy to understand.

Fascinating subject that gives you the basics on the subject. Definitely want a more in depth book on the subject.

Really good introductory book for those who are interested in learning about epidemiology or trying to refresh their memory on epidemiology after being out of the field for some time.
