Scooby-Doo and his companions travel to Big Pine Ski Lodge for a fun-filled ski weekend, but they soon discover that the resort is threatened by rumors of a snow monster terrorizing the slopes. Original.
OH NO the lady was going to give Scooby hot cocoa, doesn't she know that could kill him?! Also, where do the villains in these books get such elaborate costumes? And who pays for them?
10/10 would recommend these books, so much nostalgia, and who doesn't love the mystery gang?
Horrible, meant for 3 year olds, and even then, horrible. Horrible all the way around, from the plot to the way cindy and cam break up and act like nothing happened, then cindy dates a friggin dog 2 seconds after the breakup, it's crazy how this book was even approved to be published.

Another cute story although it seemed to lack a little detail and developing. Some of the pictures still need some work but overall the book was cute and had an interesting story.
We love all things Scooby-Doo, so whenever we find a Scooby-Doo book we haven't read yet at our local library, we just have to borrow it. The stories in the Scooby-Doo! Mysteries series are simple, fun, and we enjoy reading them together. Right now, our girls really like these short chapter books, but they also like the shorter picture books too. We've read over fifty of these stories, but there are so many more out there...I think we'll be having fun with these stories for quite a long time.
This story focuses on a snow monster who terrorizes a ski resort. Scooby and the gang are as curious and persistent as ever, solving the mystery in no time. We enjoyed reading this story together.
This was just as good as the other Scooby-Doo Mysteries we've read but I'd have to say this was the most predictable. Julia follows really well for being not-6-years-old yet, she constantly amazes me with her observation skills. Still, with some Scooby-Doo books, these Mysteries and the Collect-the-Clues, she's missed the mark on a few occasions. With The Snow Monster Julia pretty much knew what was going to happen before it happened. She knew who the Snow Monster was pretty early in the game also. That isn't to say this isn't a good story, it definitely is, hence the 5 stars. I'm simply trying to convey that this isn't the hardest to follow, even for children. I'm a fan of all the Scooby-Doo books - both series - because it keeps Julia reading chapter books, far earlier than any other child I know.
These books are about a mystery solving gang. The dog name is Scooby Doo all he likes too do is eat. His most liked friend is Shaggy he is just the same. The leader is Fred he always want too do the mission. There 2 girls Velma is the nerd of the group with the glasses. Daphne is better. Any mission they go on Shaggy and Scooby never want to go. They would rather eat. Scooby and Shaggy would have too look for clues together, the others together. If they find anything they would be scared and run off. When they stick together they always catch the person. Then they would both get a Scooby snack each. When they find out who it is the person say "I would've gotten away if it weren't for you meddling kids".
Before the came up with the show i use to read the books along side with my junie b. books there mysteries are funny but always have a twist at the end reading this book is like a little adventure you are having with them. They find a snow monster and they try to get to the bottom of what it wants but turns out to be a man they didnt expect. I won't go into more detail you have to read the book to find out the rest.
