Borrowed from library initially but it was so good I went and bought a copy! This book is a refreshing change as it presents diversity, particularly learning diversity as natural human phenomena and enables the reader to focus on a strengths rather than weaknesses approach in learning and development. In addition it takes a social/cultural model of learning from a person and environment/situation centred approach which aim to facilitate empowering outcomes for learners as well as teachers. A great read for parents, carers or those working with kids in the education system.
