If you're a Christian and your courage is running low in a world that's trying to sap your strength, this book is for you. Michael W. Smith issues a rallying call to anyone willing to listen: It's Time to Be Bold!

This brief book touches on important aspects of the Christian life, including fellowshiping with other believers, being a witness to the world, dealing with suffering, battling in spiritual warfare, reading God's Word, praying, and singing. Michael weaves stories from his own life with short lessons and punchy takeaways.

Written in a conversational style, this book is easy and fun to read. It feels like the writer is chatting with you from across the table. Getting a behind-the-scenes glimpse into Michael W. Smith's life (during the 1990s) and hearing the heart behind some of his songs was enjoyable; it definitely adds depth to his music. Also, I liked how he included excerpts from his listeners' letters throughout the book.

Okay. I just picked up this book from a local bookstore because of two things:
1. The title really hooked me in
2. there was a discount on this book

Anyways,
This book made ascertain that if you know more about the singer then, the song(lyric) gives in a surprisingly diverse interpretation.
Michael W. Smith is a remarkably wonderful musician and he explains his daily combat between credence and evil. He depicted it very realistically by correlating with various encounters he had witnessed.
