I have what I assume are two earlier editions of this book - both entitled In the Azure Over the Squalor - published by Otis Editions and Gnomon Press.

Very wonderful quotes, no matter in what edition.

"Show yourself more human than critical and your pleasure will increase." - Domenico Scarlatti

"You've got to find some way of saying it without saying it." - Edward Kennedy Ellington

"Every man is his Own equal." - Rick Flair (Mid-Atlantic Professional Wrestling Champion)

"Sonny Boy, it's all real - so watch out!" - The Town Drunk of Tarboro, North Carolina

"Few people have the imagination for reality." - Goethe

"Too much of a good thing is wonderful." - Mae West

"Going to a white-run barbeque is, I think, like going to a gentile internist: It might turn out all right, but you haven't made any attempt to take advantage of the percentages." - Calvin Trillin

"Success is having to worry about every damn thing in the world, except money." - Johnny Cash

If you get the idea, buy the book and enjoy.
