Before the release of the all-new, live-action Transformers movie next summer, take an extended look back at the classic animated 1986 Transformers: The Movie. Joining present-day TF legend, artist Don Figueroa, is returning writer and fellow TF master Bob Budiansky, the man responsible for some of the most beloved '80s Transformers comics. Together, they present this four-part adaptation, adding in extra scenes and little touches for fans of all ages.
American comic book writer, editor, and penciller, best known for his work on Marvel's Transformers comic. He also created the Marvel character Sleepwalker and wrote all 33 issues of that comic.
An acceptable adaptation of the classic 1986 film (hehe, well it's a classic for me anyway ;) it follows the film so closely that when it occasionally adjusts the lines a little, it sounds odd -- or maybe it's just that i know every line from the film so well that any change is annoying haha. having said that, i wish they'd included some extra material that was cut out of the film or something.
