About the author

I was born in Vancouver Canada—this is why half of my books are written in Canadian/British spelling. I moved to New Orleans, LA in 2012 to be with my husband and kids. We have six dogs and eight cats. I have two toddler honorary nephews. And a house full of people.
Life is hectic in the Kinsey household. But we wouldn’t have it any other way.
I am an experienced freelance Ghostwriter, Editor/Proofreader and Graphic Artist. I adore fantasy, paranormal and contemporary stories and art.
As I am a fantasy/paranormal romance author myself. I understand, on a cellular level, what it takes to catch a reader's eye. I have been a published author since 2009, under the pen names Kayden McLeod and Kinsey Knight. I have released over fifteen full length books and short stories. Although, there is only eleven currently in circulation. Over my career, I've touched on almost every step of publishing, from conception, to fruition.
I have marketed my own books, and as well as others'. I have owned a book review company and ran my own marketing firm that catered to both authors and publishers.

This is the first book I’ve read by Kayden McLeod and I enjoyed it quite well. As you can see from above Jezebel is a sex columnist who joins her cousin in going to a sex club to research for the next article she will be writing on threesomes. (Weird huh? I have read two books with threesomes in them lately – on accident)

Upon arrival Jezebel meets two very sexy and alluring vampires and she doesn’t know in that moment what it means to have captured their attention because Doros and Adrian are a package deal, you can’t have one without the other… but she soon finds out and man oh man how much I want to tell you in detail what happens… it is so HOT. Like steaming on fire hot.

This is a short book of only 47 pages and I wish it was longer because I was really enjoying the characters in this story. It’s awesome. Pick it up if you are looking for a quick steamy read. Kayden this was definitely great, I will be diving into some of your other books really soon.

New author for me. Adrian and Doros (both vampires) meet Jez at a party while she is doing research on writing an article. The vampires are handsome, sweet, sexy and considerate. Although the beginning is a bit choppy, it gets better and there are definitely steamy scenes. It's a very short read and I would've liked the author to go a bit further before ending it. Adding a epilogue would've been more fulfilling.

This very well-written book Vampire Menage Romance Story is interesting as it has well-thought out scenes and story plots. These characters have strong wills, interesting personalities and their interactions are realistic. This amazing story has the following: intrigue, twists and turns, adventure, action, danger, love, steam and a HEA. It is a fast-paced, amazing shifter book that will keep you engaged from start to finish. I will be on the lookout for more books and series by this Author

Jez has been dumped by her boyfriend, she has been asked to write about sex parties for a magazine for select audiences. Her cousin Jade and her are part vampire, so she takes her to a sex party where there are a lot of vampires there. Jez takes two home with her and she asks them to turn her. Not much more to the tale.

This was a super steamy, super hot romance! The chemistry between Jezebel, Doros and Adrian is enough to melt the words off the pages of this book! It was sweet how considerate Doros and Adrian are in introducing Jez to this lifestyle, and it was a fun twist to learn a bit on their take of vampires and how the grandmother is involved. This was entertaining and fun to read!

Such a hot story. Jezebel is writing a column for a small newspaper about sex. She ends up going to a party and while there he meets Adrian and Doros. They both are interested in Jezebel. They are two vampires who will give Jezebel the knowledge and experience she seeks. It's a fast paced sexy connection between two sexy vampires, that come as a pair, and a human women. A entertaining read. This is a new author for more and I will be on the lookout for more to read. The story was interesting, the characters are engaging and fit well together. The first book in the Jericho Coven a well written very short story that I enjoyed reading. Jezebel meets Adrian and Doros at a party and they spend some time together. Nice steamy menage story about woman looking to do some research for a newspaper article on this club and she decides have a more hands on experience with two men she meets. Very short story that but was well written with a fun plot and I will be reading more from this author.

Short and Spicy

This one’s a quick read, with the best ratio of spicy to story. At times, a little additional explanation wouldn’t have gone amiss, but the end is satisfying, so all is forgiven. A quick bit of entertainment.

Let me begin by saying that cover is pretty gorgeous. Yes, I always feel the need to say these things. It hints at this darkish yummy vibe, I just loved it as soon as I laid eyes on.

Now, as you all know by now, I'm all for some hot and steamy reading. This was hot and steamy, without a doubt. It was also a first for me, my first time giving the 3some layout (so to speak, lol) a chance. I tend to shy away from it, somehow they seem less...intimate?, then a regular couple. I associate the real steam with couple dynamics, those hardcore deep emotions of belonging and possessing and such, you know? So this was a really new reading situation for me.

That being said, I was surprised by how much I was with it. Of course, it helps that this is a quickie, the pace of events is alert and steamy through and through, sort of like this rush from word one to the last. I enjoyed it, I was curious about the characters and I liked how in a rather short span of events the author managed to give each character a distinctively personal feel, a sort of unique vibe if you will.
My favorite, of course, was Adrian. He felt more like the possessive sort of vampire, the really charismatic sort that appeals to me. Of them all, he was my favorite, and I'd love to read a book or two about him, staring him, containing him. He was that cool and delicious :D

The writing flowed well, it was accessible, direct without becoming too graphic. I'm not a big fan of that graphic sort of writing steamy, believe it or not, lol, I like my hot reads to be real active in content but classy in writing :D. So I liked this one.

All in all, I say if you're curious about some paranormal hot stuff and want to experiment with reading a 3some scenario, this would be a very valid option, it's quick, it's alert, it's hot.

As a writer of horror, it's easy to get stuck and I am constantly making jokes about my muse running off to Mexico to go on a drinking binge. During these "dry" moments in my writing career I pick up a lot of reading to see what others' muses do to them. I've found that though I may never jump into the genre as a writer, erotica and romance help stir the dark waters of my mind, pushing me back in front of the keyboard. Just recently, I picked up Jezebel's Article by Kayden McLeod.

Now I'm not going to waste your time with blurbs and summaries of Kayden's work: I'd only be cutting and pasting what's on her site or Eternal Press' page for her work. I'm one of those guys who like to get right to the point when it comes to authors and books. So let's get right to the point.

Kayden has my attention from here on! She has taken what people read and believe of vampires and weaved it into a tale full of sex and desire. To say my heart raced harder and harder with each sentence would not do it justice. After reading Jezebel's Article, I'm amazed I can even take the time to write this review!

Now rumor has it Kayden will be working on some projects that will take her out of her erotic writings. If this is true…I can't wait to see them because I have no doubt they will engulf my imagination and take me to that other world we all grasp for when we pick up a great book.

Jezebel's Article is a short erotic paranormal romance. It is not meant to be a full novel with all the background and character development, but a quick read for fun and enjoyment.
I loved reading about the way in which Jezebel did her research for her newspaper article. The first hand knowledge was spicy and steamy. A fun erotic read, but the ending was a bit shorter than I would have liked. I thought it could have been just a bit longer with a little more detail to really make this short story complete. Overall, I thought it was pretty well-written with only a few minor parts that I felt could have been a little longer or more detailed. I liked the theme of the story well, and thought that for a short story it was a pretty good read. I would love to see it made into a longer, full-length story!

I wanted something a little different to read and I got something a lot different. Jezebel’s Article has a tiny little storyline but the ideas behind the story sound really intriguing.
Jezebel’s Article is only 51 pages and while yes I understand the whole point of the story is for the sex the back story surrounding Jezebel and her family intrigued me too. I’m quite curious about that.
So the book is classed as an erotic novella and the scenes are quite steamy however, they are in no way crass.
Overall, I felt that Jezebel’s Article was well written and my only wish was that it was longer as I would be interested in more of the backstory of the characters.
