I liked this story and it lead me to look into Web of Magic... but I have to say I was disappointed. This was the most difficult graphic novel Ive ever looked at on my Nook Color. Someone with even slightly bad eyesight would have had trouble reading it and it could not be adjusted larger. I liked the story ALOT but the readability on my ereader was the worst of any book Ive had on there. Total bummer.
This is a graphic novel for children. The art is stunning, and the story is hilarious, with a little bit of scary. I particularly like this series because it has inspired the artist in my daughter to come out. There are sketches in the back of the book to help them draw the characters too!
This is definitely for kids. The dialogue made sure of it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
At first, I thought I was going to have to tap out, but I began to like hearing about the differences between mage and warlock magic. Overall, this seems like a cute series.
Kara, Emily and Adriane are a trio of powerful teenage mages that use their elemental magic and bond with the animals of Aldenmor to protect a portal of the Magic Web - but the arrival of the handsome warlock Donovan has them seeking a way to blend their magic and finally locate Avalon! Roberts and Gan begin an entertaining and lighthearted adventure with this humorous and exciting entry. What is Donovan hiding from the girls - and what is he willing to share with them?
It's a good graphic novel, and probably one of my favorites. It's quite confusing to anyone who hasn't read the first written book in the series, so I'd say read those first. It's also a very quick read, it probably took me 30-ish minutes. A must-read for anyone who loves magic!
Stonehill Junior High has a new boy in school who happens to be a handsome warlock. The three mages (Kara, Emily and Adriane) are not quite sure if his visit is as friendly as he makes it seem. Will the girls continue to save the Ravenswood Preserve?
