This is a beautiful book, but a bit dated. It is about everyday life. Though it is told in minettes incorporating quips from the Bible, you do grow to love the storyteller by the end of the book. She's incredibly naively blessed with a perfect sort of life.

For it's genre I give it 4 stars. Great daily reading a la daily prayer type style. Not too much else.

Not sure how to rate this so I won't. It's a very, very dated devotional. Copyright 1977. Maybe read for the nostalgia for the days of choir robes, felt boards, and balancing your checkbook.

I discovered this book on my mom's kitchen shelf as a kid and have loved it ever since. I stole it when I got my own home. About once a year I dig it out and laugh through it again. Reminds me how imperfect we all are and that it is ok to not be the absolute perfect housekeeper/mother/wife/person. God loves me anyway, as long as I keep trying.
