Ardel Sak was strong, confident and a stranger to herself. Her mind wiped of all but her name, she is given to a Vimpyr by the name of Sorcal. At first he wants nothing more than her blood, but after fighting for possession of her, his appetites take a decidedly carnal turn. In his arms, she finds the answer to a question she didn't know she should ask. What happens when an Impure Vimpyr and an Impure Terran join forces to fight the new exotic weapons dealers? It is a tale written in flesh and blood.

Ok... so vampires are just another alien race. What the heroine did to go undercover seems brave but very foolhardy!

Short story. 74 pages. When women leave Earth (Terran) it's like they sign away their right to pick and choose who they will be with. This book I started to say was more in that vein but then Impatient was too, where they sprayed to knock her out so that she could be in a cryo until the Prince was of age. This one, the hero picked her years before and made all sorts of arrangements without bothering to tell her. And then when she needs to be changed to be more compatible, they handcuff and drag her to the medical ward. What's amazing is it only takes her a day or so so be okay with this. For a strong military woman, that seemed a little much for me. But whatever, the stories work. ***1/2

After surfing through all the terran times series I decided to write a review for the ones I read but didn't had the time to write one.

Impure was a very fascinating read with the heroine being a bait and sent as an undercover spy for the Alliance to be able to make some action and arresting the people involved.

In order for her to get in the place she decided to forget everything about herself putting a mental block on her memory so she could become the perfect bait and no one would doubt her.

The mission was a success but she didn't expect she would come face to face with the man who bought her.

This was a light read with a witty heroine who is also smart and can kick ass. Even with her memory loss her spirit remained unchanged like how she wouldn't call Sorcal Master. Definitely recommend it for everyone to try and read it.

I liked this MUCH better with reading Blood Proxy first. Immediately before, actually.
