This is a funny, cute book for young readers. I have not come across this series before, but it will be a welcome addition to our library. I like that Dave subverts the usual unicorn character, there is some mild toilet humour and lots of fun and friendship.

My 6yo loved this book. It is funny, it is stubborn, it's just a tad off the tracks. The idea of tree climbing, fire making unicorns is certainly appealing. I think many younger reader will find it hilarious.
