A Calamity!?! That's the latest challenged put upon the newly minted Salaryman Uchimura turned....HERO of the Demon Army! This book I have been enjoying...but it is starting to raise its stakes even more and I find myself maybe thinking my 3 star rating is undercutting the brilliance along with art and pacing of a well-thought out book series! (Not to ever imply 3 stars is not a good rating but this is making me think if it continues to get better it will be hitting the 4 star next volume. The wyverns are attacking the Demon Kings bases....and it is taking a serious toll on the army....serious!
In this volume, we learn about the value of, SLEEP!
What's a manager to do when there's a crisis, in the form of attacks by massive amounts of wyverns? Well, manager must do manager things, and figure out logistics and how to best utilize supplies and personal! But, he must also remember that he is important as well, and must make sure that HE gets sleep, so that his most valuable asset, his mind, can perform at its best. Yes, this crisis is solved by, logistics management and sleep!
This volume has the first big battle that Uchimura has to deal with, along with all the complications that comes with large scale battles. It was great to see how he came to each of his strategies.
The last panel again, damn. The series really knows how to peak your excitement for the next volume!
