Forever Trapped

Rate this book
It sits alone at the edge of a cliff, the sea raging beneath it. An easy target, the abandoned home becomes the latest conquest of a reckless burglar. No one will care if he slips inside and takes a few long-forgotten things.

However, this house is not empty. It’s filled with lonely souls, souls who only wish to feel alive again. And once they trap the intruder, they will share the stories of their lives with him. Forever.

My husband bought me this book while ago at a convention. It tells the story of an abandoned house on a cliff that hosts a whole bunch of souls. Once you go inside not only will you not make it out, but you also hear how these souls became trapped within the house. I actually really liked this book. I loved how each chapter told a different story, which kept it interesting, but it also felt like their stories tied the characters together. This was a great read for the month of October if you're looking for something spooky, but also fast paced and what I would consider an easy read.

Try to think of a terrible fate and I bet it might not come close to the one in this story. Imagine entering an abandoned home only to find it is filled with spirits who are forever stuck and so the newcomer needs to listen to their stories. This was done really well-- each chapter was a short story about the various ghosts and what led them to this home. Most deserve it and some did not. This was a spooky fast read!

The house is never empty.

Christie weaves a series of stories that took place Georgian House where once folks stepped inside, they found themselves between the land of the living and the dead.

Each unique story builds upon the history of the house and those who are stuck there forever.

If you are a fan of intertwining ghost stories, this is the one for you.
