Mountain Men of Caribou Creek: Gray Sisters #2
Love Over Easy
Love, Over Mountain Men of Caribou Creek Book 5
A Small Town Mountain Man Friends to Lovers Romance
Breakups are supposed to make people sad. Right?
But all I feel after parting ways with my Anchorage boyfriend is … relief.
I didn’t expect to spend my entire summer in Caribou Creek.
To say he was unsupportive when I told him is the understatement of the year.
But with Grandma Rose on a cruise, it’s up to my sisters and me to keep the diner afloat in her absence.
Oh, and apparently our fate rests in the hands of my best friend, Rowan Jacobs and his secret cooking talent.
former best friend.
Because best friends don’t go around kissing you with a wicked ability to make your toes curl at your sister’s almost-wedding.
I thought three years away would be enough to forget.
I was wrong.
Welcome to Caribou Creek, Alaska. Secluded small town living in the heart of the mountains is not for the faint of heart. But to those who call it home, they can’t imagine being anywhere else. Love runs a little deeper in these parts. It must be something in the water, because the men who’ve sworn to live solitary lives are unable to resist the women who upend their best laid plans and capture their hearts.
This is a sweet & steamy instalove romance with a mountain man and curvy woman. NO cliffhangers. NO cheating. Guaranteed HEA.

For the love of blueberry crumbles
This book is about Kinley and Rowan. They used to be best friends, until he kissed her at her sister’s almost-wedding three years ago. Apart from being best friends, she also had a boyfriend, Anders, who has since cheated on her, and she’s moved on from that. Now Kinley is moving to Caribou Creek to help run her Grandma Rose’s diner with her sisters Willow and Aurora.
She’s going to do all she can to avoid running into Rowan, but that will be impossible when her sister tells her she’s hoping that Rowan will step in as their chef temporarily. That three-year friendship timeout has to change! That kiss still haunts them both, but neither have been willing to reach out since it happened. What will it take for them to reconnect and save their friendship? A surprising and disappointing email from Rowan’s father might give him the push he needs, along with a request from Kinley for help.
It’s a really sweet and steamy story that had me hooked from the start. The affection between them is so endearing, and especially when it turns to so much more – or at least the slow realisation of how they truly have felt! If he’s a rebound, he’s going to make sure he’s the last one she ever needs – swoon much?!
I love the characters of Caribou Creek, and the relationships they all have and share (and it was a nice surprise to see Maggie again too, as I’d just read about her matchmaking prowess in another book). There’s a lot of laughs and high emotions (both good and bad) that follow them all around, making for fun reads. I just always wish the stories didn’t end so quickly! I give this book four and a half stars.

Kinley (h) breaks-up with her boyfriend and heads home to Caribou Creek to temporarily run the family diner for the summer. In need of a diner cook, she has to turn to Rowan (H), her one-time best friend, from whom she awkwardly parted after a surprising kiss. The more time that Rowan and Kinley spend together, the more she realizes that her mountain man cook may be just be the missing ingredient in her life. A sweet small town, mountain romantic quickie with a side of heat and some laughs along the way. Gotta love Bear!

I mean, she doesn't miss. There is a reason I have a Kali Hart shelf on my goodreads. And every time I think "oh maybe i'm just hyping it up in my head," she comes out with another novella, and I love it. Kali Hart is the reason I want to visit Alaska, and if you know me, that is a crazy thing to say.

This is book five of the Mountain Men of Caribou Creek series and the main characters are Kinley Gray, who was called back to Caribou Creek under false pretences, and her former best friend Rowan Jacobs, who she hasn’t spoken to for three years. Kinley and her sisters Aurora and Willow, were all called home under false pretences after their Grandma Rose said she was dying, but was in fact about to go off on a round the world cruise and needed them to run her diner for her. None of the sisters can cook worth toffee, so they need a short order cook and fast, for the busy summer period. Aurora helped Kinley put all her stuff into storage in Anchorage, after her break up with her cheating boyfriend Anders, who hadn’t been too happy when Kinley announced she needed to stay in Caribou Creek for the summer. His blatant cheating and allowing her to catch him in the act, seemed to be his response! Thankfully, in the years they were together, she had never moved in together with him and has allowed her lease to expire, so she is free and single now. Her only problem is that her sisters have no idea about why she isn’t speaking to Rowan and life is about to get complicated!
Rowan has been running his family logging business for the last three years, ever since his older brother Cass (Cassius) decided to go and live off grid in the mountains after a particularly bad break up. He has been trying to get his father to see how good he has been at the job and stepping up to take over the reins. It isn’t exactly where his heart lies, but it is where he wants to earn his father’s respect! Although there seems little chance of that. He and Finley had been best friends for the whole of their childhoods and it was only when he kissed her at her sister Willow’s almost wedding three years ago, that she was at with her then boyfriend Anders that everything went wrong! She left him behind to follow the city guy back to Anchorage and broke his heart. He has loved her since he was nine years old, even before he knew what love really was! When Cass suddenly reappears and takes over the running of the family timber company, all the warning he got was a text message from his father. Cass wants him to be his underling and can’t see what the issue with that might be His father has always wanted Cass to take over when he retired, and it seems nothing Rowan did over the last three years would have made a difference!
Willow and Aurora need Finley to ask Rowan to be their cook for the summer, so they don’t ruin their grandmother’s diner’s reputation. Not something she really wants to do, nor have happen, as that will mean she will be spending every day with him, after a kiss she hasn’t forgotten even after three years! Rowan’s Grandma Dottie knows his secret passion has been to cook and bake, passing off many of his creations as her own at family dinners, to keep his secret from his father and brother, knowing they would never understand it. Kinley and her sisters are desperate, but now Rowan can set the terms of coming to help them and that means he can try and build up Finley’s self-confidence about herself and her lovely curvy body, as well as steal some steamy moments together. Willow has Mason and they seem to be happy, whilst Aurora goes into hiding every time a certain ma enters the diner, so they will both be sorted out romantically. Now all that needs to happen is for Rowan and Finley to finally declare their feelings for each other. Made easier by working closely together and the love of the huge dog, called Bear that Rowan got after she left and that they had both talked about wanting years before. Three years wasn’t long enough to forget Rowan, even with a real boyfriend in the mix that she hasn’t exactly been broken up about losing!
The two are back being best friends again, but that also comes with the necessary straight talking when relatives try and put you down, as Finley reveals all to his family against his own wishes. She believes in him and his wonderful skills and talent as a cook, believing that he could do whatever he wants in that business and make it a success. Why be unhappy and stressed in the family business, working yourself silly to prove yourself, when you are never going to be considered for the top spot? Nothing is ever easy and sometimes what you think you want is not where your future should be. Finley soon gets to realise that those feelings she has had for Rowan all those years, are more than just that of friends and he has made it plain he wants more. Wil she risk getting her friend back by continuing with their secret relationship? Lots of mistaken opportunities wasted and assumptions made, before the two finally get their HEA ending. Another short but fun read, set in Alaska, with friends becoming lovers and not wasting another moment in self-denial or allowing a lack of self-confidence to sabotage the best relationship either of them have ever had. They have always belonged together, it just took them quite a while to realise it and take action! I look forward to reading Aurora’s story next and catching up on the ones I have missed in the series so far. Nice mix of fun, family relationships and a gran who brings them all back together whilst she goes off with her beau! I received an ARC copy of this book form BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

He can cook more than just in the kitchen
Love Over Easy is the fifth book in the Mountain Men of Caribou Creek series. When Kinley Gray and her sisters are summoned back to Caribou Creek by their Grandma Rose they all think she is sick and maybe dying. But they quickly find that she has won a jackpot and about to take a trip around the world with her "bookkeeper". The sisters are all tasked with running the diner and not burning it down, well only one of them is known for starting kitchen fires. As none of them can actually cook they end up getting Kinley's ex, Rowan Jacob's to fill in, as he used to cook there when he was in high school. Rowan has his own complicated family that just got even more complicated when his father calls his older brother home to take over the family company. Rowan bows out with the expectation that his brother will decide to leave and he will step in to run things again. In the meantime he agrees to be the cook at the diner.....and also get Kinley to stay in town with him even though she plans on heading back to Anchorage when Grandma Rose returns. But it seems that the sisters may all be coming home for good as they find love, family and happiness where it always was.
I loved this story and the expanding story of the Gray sisters, and more about Grandma Rose and the other quirky characters of Caribou Creek.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book about Kinley and Rowan who have been best friends since they were nine years old, that is until three years ago when they had a big argument and haven’t spoken since. Kinley has a lot to work through in her relationship with Rowan, she needs to get over the fact that she is embarrassed that they kissed at her sisters almost wedding.
Rowan has been in love with her since he was nine, and now he needs to convince Kinley that she is everything that he ever wanted, these two characters are both strong and independent, but they both have a love for each other that they finally can’t deny any more. There is a happily ever after at the end.

I loved Love Over Easy: A Small Town Mountain Man Romance Book 5 of Mountain Men of Caribou Creek. Kinley is back in town to help her sister run her family diner while her grandma goes on vacation. What she wasn’t expecting was Rowan, her best friend who she hasn’t talked to in 3 years to be working with her but they need him. Rowan is in love with Kinley but she ran off 3 years ago and basically stomped on his heart. She’s back and maybe this is his chance to prove they slog together. Such a sweet story and characters. I love this Caribou Creek series and I can’t wait for Auroras story. I would definitely recommend this series and this book.

Kinley and Rowan have been best friends since they were nine. That all changed three years ago when Rowan kissed Kinley wanting her to stay. She left to go back to Anchorage, breaking both their hearts. Now Rowan is helping Kinley and her sisters take care of their grandmother’s dinner. Kinley regrets leaving three years ago and she’s all in to convince Rowan she’s home to stay. Rowan has loved Kinley forever and her presence calms him. Having her beside him gives him the courage to stand up to his family and go after what he wants and what makes him happy. This was another awesome story by Kali Hart. Kinley and Rowan are awesome together and the chemistry sparks between them. Can’t wait for Aurora’s book. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Kinley has come back home to help her sister's with her Grandma's diner for a month. But when they need a cook, who does her sister ask, no one other then her ex-best friend Rowan Jacobs.
Rowan says the only way he will consider or say yes is if Kinley asks him personally. So when she shows up, he knows all he can do is make her his forever. When they finally tell each other they love each other and she's staying, that becomes their happily ever after.
Great short, hot, steamy read! Can't wait to read all the other books in this series.

Kinley has return to town, to help with her grandmother's diner, while her grandmother goes on a world cruise. Problem is neither her nor her sisters can cook, and she does not know if she can face her ex best friend.
Rowan has been working hard to prove himself at his family business. When his brother returns home, Rowan is upset that he is being overlook and helps Kinley with the diner and maybe win his best friend back.
Rowan and Kinley have several hurdles to overcome to find the friendship and love they lost several years ago. Great fast read that grabs you from the start.

Kinley parted ways with her boyfriend in Anchorage and is going to spend the summer in Caribou Creek. That he was unsupportive made moving on easier. Grandma Rose is taking a vacation, she and her sisters are going to run the diner for her. She has to ask her former best friend to cook at the diner, since neither of them can.
Rowan has loved Kinley forever but when she moved away she took all hope away from him and her ever being together. Now she is back without her boyfriend it is time to claim his girl before she leaves again.

I have read and LOVED all of Kali's books. This one is no different. I loved the story line and the chemistry between the main characters, it kept me glued to my kindle. The relief, Kinely experiences when she breaks up with her cheating ex, is amazing. She intends to work hard at making Grannies diner a huge success. She turns to her best friend, Rowan who makes thing awkward by giving her a toe curling kiss at her sisters almost wedding. I am itching to get hold of book 6 and read the final book in the series.

Kinley is back in Caribou Creek to help run her grandmother's diner while she was off on vacation. Rowan and Kinley were best friends since they were kids and he's had a crush on her for a long time. Now that she's back in Caribou Creek he's determined to win her heart before he loses her again. This is a second chance love story between two people who are perfect for each other. I was cheering with every page I turned for them to get the happily ever after they deserved. Love Over Easy is book five in the Mountain Men of Caribou Creek and I can't wait to read the rest of this series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

This is book 5 of Mountain Men of Caribou Creek and I believe it is my favorite so far. I love Rowan and Kinley. Best friends since childhood but a rift in their relationship 3 years ago caused Kinley to run. But now that she is back no holds are barred. Best friends can make the best lovers and can have it all if they are honest with each other. Absolutely the best read ever, fast and steamy and great characters. Waiting for more mountain men from Kali Hart. Loved this story.

This was a romance filled with tons of emotions between the hero and heroine. However both MCs also have to deal with dramas surrounding their own families, especially the hero.
This was really fun to read as it was sweet and steamy because of the conflicting feelings the H and h have towards each other at first (anger and regret over their past and their attraction for each other). The hero was also my favourite kind in that he was obsessed with the heroine even when he was mad at her.

This was a really sweet friends to lovers romance. I loved the relationship between Kinley and Rowan, childhood friends who had a falling out 3 years ago when Rowan kissed Kinley. She was afraid to be more than friends so they parted ways. Now Kinley and her sisters needs his help. The storyline was really cute and there was so much chemistry between Kinley and Rowan. I really enjoyed the story and can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

This is the 5th book in the Mountain Men of Caribou Creek, it's a well-written sweet and steamy friends to lovers romance. Kinley and Rowan have been best friends since they first met. Rowan loved Kinley before they even knew the meaning of love but when he kissed her at her sisters wedding their friendship went sideways. Now several years later Kinley is back home and single and Rowan is determined to show her that he's the only man for her...wonderful characters. I really enjoyed their story.

The fifth title in her charming Mountain Men of Caribou Creek, Love Over Easy, just might be my favourite Kali Hart story yet. Love in Alaska? Check. Best friends to lovers with chemistry to melt your e-reader? Check. Fantastic supporting characters? Check. Rowan and Kinley's best friends who have both always wanted more (whether or not Kinley admitted it to herself ;) ) have an entertaining, steamy and swoon-y journey that is well worth the read.

I'd give Rowan a medal if I could for carrying that torch for that long. Well, it was worth it in the end when he has the woman he loves for so long finally in his arms.
The story is a good look at the life of the Gray sisters. It's been a long time since I read from this series. I might have to reread the previous ones and re-experience the joy of finding love.

This is a sweet second chance at romance between Rowan and Kinley who were best friends until they had a falling out three years ago. Now she's back. Can they get back on track? This is their story. It's well written with descriptive scenes, moves quickly and smoothly and is a great addition to the series.

Incredibly sweet!
A friends to lovers so sweet and extremely hot. I love the personalities of the characters, Kali Hart has the ability to make her men so strong and tough and so sweet and heart melting at the same time. Rowan and Kin find, with some angst in between, and a lot of heat, their happily ever after.

Kinley is home while Grandma Rose is on a cruise. Her other two non cooking sisters will try not to burn down the diner. Resisting the current flowing through them. Family drama is in the cards. A lot of good food is mentioned too. Steamy and real interactions. Resolving the issues to make life better. Missing love and finding it. No cliff.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. I liked this love story about two people who were always meant to be together. Kinley and Rowan's friendship grew into a love that seemed to be over before it could change direction. Their story is about family, friendships and second chances. There is some drama to go along with the humor, happiness, tension and heat. I enjoyed both of the main characters and the storyline

Kinley and Rowen had been best friends since childhood they fell out 3 years earlier when Rowan kissed her and she ran scared! Now back in Caribou Creek she tries to avoid him but Rowan is not letting this chance to show her they can be more slip by him. Sweet, steamy, emotional story with amazing chemistry, love, laughter, tears and a wonderful HEA.

Kinley is a sweetheart of a woman who has returned home with sisters to take care of her grandmother diner. Rowen is a fantastic man who loves to cook. Their story is so sweet and spicy that it might give you cavities.

The author has given us a wonderful best friends-to-enemies story that pulls us into the lives of Kinley and Rowan and does not let go. The story keeps us turning the pages with regrets, misunderstandings, desire, denial and steam.

Kinley is called home to help her grandmother and the rift with her boyfriend becomes to much. Rowan is her bestfriend since grade school, and he has loved her since they were nine. He is still hurt by Kinley turning him down for the city boy. But when she comes asking for help with the diner he answers. Of course the attraction is larger then life now and different kinds of cooking occurs
