A 10-Week Study for Women on the Book of Ephesians Ephesians reveals how believers, through union with Christ, have been given everything they need for a joy-filled life of faith. In this New Testament epistle, the apostle Paul reveals how Christians grow as a spiritual family in thought, word, and deed as together they live out their great spiritual privileges in their lives and relationships. In this 10-week Bible study for women, Lydia Brownback examines Ephesians verse by verse to guide Christians toward a godly life. Written for individuals or groups, each lesson helps women understand the blessings of being united to Christ by faith, fellowship, spiritual maturity, and fruitful living.

Loved getting to walk through Ephesians. I’m so glad I did this study. I think this format would be lovely to do in a group and wish I had been able to experience it that way!
This book takes a look at a variety of passages through the Bible and has you flipping back and forth quite a bit. The teaching and study are intertwined rather than separated into sections.
I loved the focus on Christian love which is the theme of this book, and would love to try another of the Flourish series.
This Bible study on the book of Ephesians is set up for both individual and group study. I like that all of the teaching is in the book, instead of the publisher expecting for people to also pay for streaming videos, and the author did a nice job of sharing illustrative stories and explaining concepts throughout the book while also helping the reader dig into Scripture to see and learn things for themselves.
This study includes some maps and other contextual information, and each week is broken up into different sections that people can work through at their own pace. The author also avoids getting preachy or agenda-driven in the sections about more controversial issues that Ephesians covers, and the interpretation questions encourage people to read the Bible carefully and process what it means, instead of just focusing on their own thoughts or reactions.
There's a good balance between questions about the text and application questions for the reader, and although the book is designed for a female audience and includes questions geared towards women, the book isn't gender stereotyped and is appropriate for a broad audience.
I received a free copy from the publisher through Amazon Vine in exchange for an honest review.
Ephesians: Growing in Christ, a part of the Flourish Bible Study series by Lydia Brownback, is a well-crafted 10-week individual or group study. This book provides a comprehensive understanding of the book of Ephesians, while encouraging personal growth in faith.
I like the structure and layout of this study, with its wide margins and white space for notetaking and responses to study questions. There are also plenty of maps and other visuals that aid in understanding the blessings of living a Christ-centered life.

Our Women’s Bible Study at church worked through this book during our Spring session. I was on the teaching team who presented each week after the women had read the chapter and answered the questions. We went deeper into the passage than Lydia did. Then the women broke I to small groups to discuss the teaching and the questions they answered. It was a good study and the women appreciated spending time in Ephesians. This book is theologically sound and forms a good basis for a study. Lydia’s questions are often comprehension only and rarely got to deeper level questioning. Our small group leaders just expanded on the questions for better discussion.
Just could not get into this Bible Study. I did not get much out of it at all & did not enjoy it. It was hard for me to concentrate & critically think doing this study.
