Poor grammar but good plot

I really enjoyed the plot, but the poor grammar and spelling mistakes took away from the story. Still worth the read, though!

⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is probably too generous, but it was overall an okay story. The biggest problem the book had was that it couldn’t have been edited. There were so many grammar and spelling mistakes that I lost count. It was getting confusing to read because I had to keep rereading to understand what was supposed to be said. I typically don’t mind a mistake here and there, but this book had mistakes on almost every other page! I think the author bent the rules of reality a bit just so he could try to make his story make sense and go the way he wanted. That’s okay, but the plot doesn’t seem at all plausible or realistic. Again, I’m not usually bothered by this, but it was over the top in this book. Apparently this is part of a series, and while the story was okay, I will not be reading the other ones. I think an editor could have helped clean this book up a lot, but seeing as it’s the second in the series, I don’t have a lot of hope that the others are well written either. #honourthydaughter #tcbadcock #newfoundlandauthor #thrillerbooks #bookstagram #books #booksbooksbooks #readmorebooks #ilovebooks

Grammar errors aside, I really enjoyed this book. I got through it much faster than I thought I would and the plot twist at the end had me like WTF?!? Overall I enjoyed this one.

This eerie true story left me in tears on the third chapter. It made me question sanity, and left me wondering how so many people could be so unaware of whats going on in their own neighborhood. It definitely opened my eyes to dangers and reality, bad things don't just happen in movies and there isn't always a happy ending.

As much as I loved this book, it did leave me teary eyed, wondering how one could not know this is happening in one's own backyard. The emotional relief I felt at the end when she survives and escapes had me so happy she got out!

Very imaginative story, with a great plot. The writer makes far too many grammatical errors, however the writing style keeps you on the edge of your seat. I couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend reading!
