This fast-paced tale of genetic engineering and biological warfare has all the heart-pounding suspense of a Tom Clancy blockbuster. As a new believer, gene-splicing technician Tamara Mack is fascinated with God's message and His presence in her life. But when she's instructed to graft the AIDS virus onto an airborne particle, her refusal exposes a terrorist plot threatening everyone on earth. Working from the outside, Ethan Hamilton and his counter-cyberterrorism team struggle to help Tamara defeat a terrorist force that can destroy civilization.

I read this some time ago, and as with the other books I read in the series, it was fun.

It was less about the VR and more a Jack Ryan-esque adventure... It was an interesting episode. After re-reading #2, I was considering not keeping the series, but #3 kept the series on my shelf.
