The concept of numbers and counting from 1 to 5 is demonstrated by the Baby Einstein characters in a variety of playful, amusing scenarios. Young children will delight in finding, naming, and counting a variety of objects in each illustration. The book also builds vocabulary, and teaches the names of parts of the body.
Everett's eyes were glued to every page in then book. I think he liked all the colors. The counting of certain things on each page help me to be more interactive with hime while reading. This is going to be a favorite.
This is a good book for young children who are learning how to count. This book has cute pictures where the child counts how many items it sees depending on the question.
Each page has five questions. The questions ask how many of some object appears in the picture. The answer to the first question is one, the second question two, and so on until you get to five. I felt like I was giving my kid the third degree. Perhaps someone who is not good at asking questions of children would appreciate this...I can ask thoughtful questions about stories and illustrations all on my own...its just talking about what you see....
This is a great read along numbers book for little ones - it asks questions and the answers are all numbers. There is no story but the numbers correspond to the characters and themes on each page. Those who know the Baby Einstein characters will especially like it. It counts from 1-5.
