This is a rollicking ride through life coaching techniques that you can use to fine tune & life coach yourself. I listened to the audiobook (am going to include audiobooks here, because that's book ingestion too!), and the reader has a pleasantly upbeat and rich voice. If this is in your area of interest, I think you'll appreciate it.
I found this book to be a rehash and comparatively superficial. I have read several better coaching books that were more helpful and proved more practical. Perhaps this books is best read as an introduction to life coaching rather than as a practical guide to getting a solid practice under way.
A really good introduction to Life Coaching and some insights that have really helped me with my own personal career and life plans. It's always good to take a look at what you are doing and think really what do I want in life and to make those tweaks and changes to help you along the way! I'm always faffing about with my options in life - sometimes we have no control - when we do we often just let life carry us along!
I love the "For Dummies" series and this book has certainly helped me to figure a couple of things out. But it's also a book you can come back to time and time again. If you like to improve yourself and your life go for it.
This book covered many different areas from personal development, goal setting, to giving me the basics of how to develop this into a business and take my passion for working with others to a new level.
*** - It is a good book to read. If you are new in the world of "life coaching", it is where to start. You will find a big picture of different categories that you have to be good in. Furthermore, further researches are needed if you want to go deeper in the subject of life coaching ;)
