This is one of my favorite GURPS books. I don't really like GURPS as a game system, but I have a few of the books for purposes of creative inspiration. I'm a big fan of the idea of biotechnology being used in a transformative way.

This feels like cheating on my annual book-reading goal. I pulled this out for reference on a writing project that I'm doing, but I read through quite a bit of it in the process, so I decided to add it to my shelf here. It doesn't take me long to devour an RPG sourcebook.

I once wrote a college paper on genetics and potential medical genetic-treatment applications using only the previous edition of this book. This one is much more detailed.
