Michelle Thompson grew up in New Mexico, Tennessee and Arizona and has twelve brothers and sisters (biological, adopted and step). She has a Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University in Family and Human Development. She is the author of "Taming the Wind", a young adult fiction novel and "Flames of Redemption", a young adult fiction novel, and has had multiple freelance columns published in Arizona State University’s newspaper, The State Press, and in the Douglas Daily Dispatch (Douglas, Arizona). She has also written a children’s book, "Afraid, a book for children 'at risk' for Huntington’s disease", printed by the Huntington’s disease Society of America. She currently lives in Arizona with her husband and their three boys.
