I absolutely love the art and I can't believe this book is so cheap (its between like 1 to 5€ here ig). I genuinely can't tell the difference between a drawing and photographs, lmao.

I can't give it 5 stars only because I don't relate to the text tbh, the poetry is a cute detail but I enjoyed like..2 or 3 poems out of all of them

its sad I can't find anything about her, her Facebook page had its last post on 2017

É um livro diferente, mas para quem gosta de arte este livro está muito giro. É uma compilação de trabalhos artísticos de Katarina Sokova. Encontrei-o perdido numa estante na Fnac a 1 €, e não resisti a traze-lo para casa.


Os desenhos e fotografias vêm acompanhados de pensamentos da artista. Com palavras inspiradoras. Como por exemplo:

" Sabor da laranja radiosa. A minha cor vermelha preferida é a da paixão e do fogo, do sol e das flores... Reverberações da vela no vidro, conferi de cores,e, sobre a mesa, gotas de chá derramado, âmbar claro (...)"

Gorgeous illustrations! One of the best "photobooks" I have had a look at. This woman is very, VERY talented.
