IdMeSuperEgo

Rate this book
The story takes place in a fictional european country that is teetering on the brink of both complete anarchy and complete totalitarianism. It is a political, societal, and (most of all) philosophical odyssey. The story is told 1st person by the main character Louie Gallagher, a vulgar, poetic, disillusioned, and mentally unstable person. The reader follows his life as he experiences death, drugs, cultural shifts and social revolutions.

IdMeSuperEgo was a glimpse into the life of a young man searching for meaning in a meaningless world. It was a compelling story with a great ending. As a side note, this is the first novel written by my SuperInsightful nephew and I am so proud of him!
