The hard-working people at innocent spend their days blending all kinds of delicious ingredients to create smoothies and juices that taste good and do you good. These are their secret recipes.
This book contains fancy juices, healthy smoothies for kids, some posh stuff and tons of classic innocent smoothies, as well as recipes from proper foodies like that nice Jamie Oliver. Stuffed full of helpful advice on how to get your five a day, how to wreck a juicer, how to play monkey tennis and – perhaps most importantly – how to make innocent smoothies, the ‘innocent smoothie recipe book’ is a vital tome for any kitchen shelf.
Very humorous. This IS a smoothie recipe book- if you own a fruit juicing machine and you're looking for ideas for combinations of fruits and vegetables to try, I do recommend this book. This book differs from all other smoothie recipe books because the team of writers who had been working at Innocent Drinks when they'd written this book all write very clever, witty and humorous wording style.

A superb and entertaining collection of recipes for smoothies and juices from the makers of the Innocent Smoothie with helpful info on whether you should juice, blend or squeeze your ingredients to while-u-wait workouts, camping ideas, where and it what form to buy your fruit and ingredients that just don't work in a drink (onion juice, really, who would try that!). Full of random tips about everything but smoothies as well as amusing anecdotes and ways of cleaning your juicer/blender with or without a hammer, this is an entertaining book in its own right, the making of tasty smoothies is simply a bonus.
As someone who is obsessed with food and/or eating without breath between, recipe books ARE reading books! I used to own a copy of this smoothie recipe ideas book from @innocent which sadly got lost amongst many university-era house moves. With a five year old who loves smoothies just as much as me (even enthusiastically declaring “we need flaxseed too!”… the children of millennials…) it was definitely worth adding to our collection and has given us inspiration for lots of new lovely flavour combinations to explore. I’m particularly excited with elderflower season upon us we can look forward to trying the elderflower/apple/blackcurrant blend which sounds just delicious! 👅
The best way to enjoy fruit and healthy too. What more could you want? Oh quirky texts, pictures and explanations? You got it. This book was done the Innocent way. Highly recommend it.
