Danu has one weakness ... hot, sexy dragon-hunter Ragna. As leader of the Hussy Warrior Hunters, she reaped eternity with him in the Netherworld ... until now.
Destiny calls Danu back to Earth ... alone.
Torn between her sacred duty and her lover, Danu agonizes over losing Ragna forever. Strong, fearless Ragna makes her mindless with desire, and each time he touches her, Danu melts. Ragna is powerless to stop her from being ripped from his arms.
His last words ring in her ears ... He’ll find a way to return to her ...
This was a pretty good freebie. I liked the characters and the plot. There were some emotions, plenty of steamy scenes, and a good HEA. This was mostly steamy scenes, but the other parts were good and worth it, even if they were short. I liked most of it, although, this was short, and would've definitely liked to read a full version of their story. Great for an anytime read and definitely a one-sitter. Enjoy
Short and hot, but PWP-ish. Couldn't help but wonder about the back-story, if there was one. The reader is simply dropped into the action (of the horizontal variety) and that's it. Why she had to return, what happened with the bargain...? No clue.
This was a pretty good quick read, but I'm really glad that I had already read the first Hussies book, otherwise I don't really think that this would've made any sense to me. However, if you're just looking for a quick, dirty read, this is a pretty good one!
I assume that there is a decent novel that this acts as a prequel to, for it is short with the brief introduction of a character, Danu. A lot of hot sex in most manifestations that you can imagine between one male and one female.
oh no...this wasn't sexy at all. too many ye's and virgin maidenheads and rutting stag tall forme. also the word engorged? its not sexy...really that brings to mind like swollen with infection or something
Cute and very spicy story. Made me curious to read the rest of the series. What glimpse I caught of the world building impressed me and I look forward to reading more from this author.
