I had purchased this book for my father who lived in a nursing home who was a huge Everly Brothers fan, my whole childhood and growing up. Unfortunately, he passed away before he could read it. I noticed that he had a little bookmark at the beginning, so as a tribute to him, I decided to read it. I feel that my dad would have loved this history.I was kind of hooked on it I mean, I can remember the songs from growing up and I wish that he could have finished it, because it was a compelling history to read about and how much influence they had on others.
After reading it, I want to go in search of concert footage, and watch in honour of my dad and my childhood.
