Ms Philips weaves a tale of intrigue and beauty that had this reader hooked. I could not put this book down. I read it not knowing this was the sequel, so at first the mass of individuals that were in the first chapter took me by surprise but once I ironed out who was who, I fell in love which each and every character. Characters full of depth and richly crafted. Even the jumping in scenes to multiple points of view didn’t faze me in the least.
Tristan is a hero among ALPHA Heros. He is confidant, gorgeous and knows what he is doing, he was born and breed to be a knight. Katie a couple hundred years younger then Tristan is his fledgling and she is as enchanting and strong as he is… Both are flawed and scared of loving as they have lost so much already. But the secondary characters add so much life and humor to the book you will love them all equally.
I loved the book and can’t wait to get my hands on her first book and have high hopes there are more in this series.

Knight Everlasting is the second in the series written by Lisa Phillips. Her first book Obsession Everlasting introduced her readers to the Southern Vampyres. The story continues with the threat to their entire existence, with evil coming in the name of Victor.
Our story is set in the beautiful southern city of Savannah, where our Vampyre Order is threatened, and our faction is training for War. They live in a mansion owned by the very wealthy Simon Clairmont, who we met in the first book, who is now happily mated to his beautiful Fallyn. Reece his cousin, is still the epitome of our charming playboy. Then there is Tristan of Eire our handsome knight He is bewitched by Katie O’Reardon his fledgling, who gave up her mortal soul. Returning as well is Adams the Butler manning the kitchens and keeping the estate running like a well oiled machine. We meet newcomers Dr Sydney Campbell and young Ryder for the good guys .
As I sat reading this charming story, I again remember this authors writing style. Her descriptive words seem to make you feel you are in the moors and the smell of heather surrounds. The War that has to take place in inevitable. Those scenes are quick paced. The sensual tension between Tristan and his Kate makes you feel the whispers of a kiss , the hint of a touch, which makes you keep turning the pages for more.
The story is written beautifully, and the secondary storyline has a wonderful light and fun edge to it…Tristian is a Vampyre admittedly older than dirt .This story takes place in present day…There is a whole lot of fun abounding when Modern Girls make plans for the Fall Of A Man. Lastly, the dialogue between these characters at times is laugh out loud fun which, not many writers have the skill to accomplish, and Ms Phillips has done this abundantly well…The War is over….but I wish to continue to hear about this wonderful “family”. Where will we be taken next????

Fantastic read I couldn't put it down once I picked it up... The Characters are engaging and well thought out. I fell in love immediately with Tristan. I was egaged the whole 196 pages. Now I have to go back and read the first one.

This is the second book that I've read by Lisa Phillips. I really like her books. Can't wait until the next one! I hope that it will be about Ryder. I liked him in the last book.
